Gsers,

I did it... I ordered the Bandit GSF1250 yesterday.  2011 grey, naked non abs.  Going from 34.3kw @ 9200rpm & 40nm @ 7400rpm (GS500F) to 72kw @ ........... & 108nm @ 3750rpm (Bandit).  The torque runs over a wider range from very low revs.  This should be good if I need to get out of the way in a hurry (without changing down - in traffic) The GS500F is good - with a change down in gears though.
I plan to ready my GS500F to sell privately. Roadworthy cert, transfer papers etc over the next couple of weeks.
Here's some insight....
6/11 plated, purchased 24.12.11, grey colour, 4181kms (today), 6mths reg. (3.86l/100kms  :whisper: ). 'As new' condition.

It certainly served me as a learn to ride again after my accident.  Ideal as a conventional daily commute & cheap to own. :thumb:

*I* found, the seat on the S made me slide forward. Will say this, though, the 1250 bandit makes your gear changes lazy as you can be a couple gears too high and the torque still pulls the bike around the corner.

Good one, Dave.  :thumb:

Read the same thing in a review. Reviewer also said a quick fix for that was to set the rider seat on high, and have the pillion seat on the low setting. Gave a much more flat seating position up front. Not sure which year of 1250 that review was on so don't know if it's still applicable.
I like a non-sequitur as much as the next Giraffe.

Spotted! About 7pm Tuesday night at QUT Gardens Point! Three faired models in the bike parking spot under the highway :)

I thought it was pretty cool...considering there was total of maybe a dozen bikes there at that point...

Gsers,

I wanted to 'put it out there' as there may be a Gser in the market for a near new GStwin.

I've booked in my GS500F for roadworthy cert Thu this week as I plan to sell.
It's a 2011 GS500F in Grey/Black.  4288km on the odometer.

Also try the For Sale section. Be prepared for comments about how High Priced it is - even after telling them this is an Australian price.

Good luck with the sale.

Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

You moved? Where to?

Slips, has it arrived yet?

From West Ippy to Raceview. Not far but now I have a lock up garage for my babies. Actually it is just up the road from where you used to live on Robertson Road.
