Well I got my new gear shift indicator in today so I will get it on this weekend.

I chopped more of the rear fender off and added new rear turns with a LED flasher

New bar mirrors go on tomorrow

Stripped and painted the exhaust manifold.........it came up very nice.

Thats on my list to do also.

Wrecked my bike over the Weekend. Was not a good idea to ride in the mountains when it was super foggy and getting dark at the same time.......any ideas on fixing a slightly dented tank

Ive read where you can use compressed air to pop out dents

Put a motor together and positioned it under the frame to go back in. Hopefully tomorrow it will get bolted in and fired up. Cheesus Crust I hope it runs.

Recently been there and done that. Like you I was praying it ran with no issues. Getting that engine in BTW is always a PITA for me

I don't know. These came in and I forgot I ever ordered them.
Rear hugger and a front fender extender.
They both look really nicely made. Oh, well.... more GS500 thingies to sort and file away.

weedahoe

I want a hugger but I need one to fit a 160 tire

My Katana front rim/tire came in today.

I fitted GS500F mirrors to my Bandit.  Had cheapies on it while I was researching permanent replacements and was pleasantly surprised to find that the GS500F mirrors bolt straight on.

Started it to check out the new pilot mixture. It was 3 turns, then 2.75, now 2.5. I think 2.5 is where it will stay. Have 20 pilots and a lunchbox.

While I let it warm up, cleaned the K&N in the car and drained the coolant.  That stuff was almost black. Been 80,000 miles and 7 years since I last drained and filled.  New 50/50 mix is light green  :icon_eek:

Rode Thumper. He was happy - hadn't been on the road since Backfire Moto last month.

Then rode Phenix to the gym.

Then rode Suzi to Trader Joes. I was in there with my helmet on (HJC flip-up type) and a guys says "That your blue bike out there". "Yes" I said. and he replied "That's a really cool looking bike you got there". Made me grin really big!

mister

Rode it to get some banana pancakes. They were really quite yummy... (don't know how they expected me to eat the icecream with a fork though)

Duh! OEM Paint? You forgot to ask and you forgot your blue extension cord.

Colorrite.com has all the colors. The WIKI has the color codes. If colorrite does not go back far enough in years, enter the 3 character color code. I have purple touch up pens you can have. Never bought a spray can of the purple. Junior used their paints.

I did get my cord,Atleast I got a blue cord !!.hehe

Looked at it while I painted my garage trim.

Found out yesterday at 9:35am that I will be in Toronto all week.   Get an email with my boss and 3 levels higher all cc'd asking how quickly can I be in Canada's largest city for a project.

**sigh** more delta sky miles and Marriott points.

I know, you've heard it before.....

Rode Phenix on Vashon Island today.

Here's a really crappy video - NOT TO MY STANDARDS! The Contour HD performed like a 98 cent piece pf crap.
Anyway, for your enjoyment, here is 5 minutes of twisties on Vashon Island. You would have fun riding these where your line of sight is sometime is only 200 to 400 feet to the next turn and up or down hill.
