Hi all, my name is Dylan and I'm completely new to the board (and motorcycles) and I need a little help. Being the novice rider that I am, I unfortunately went down with my gs500f a coupe weeks back during a group ride. Needless to say, I wasn't looking where I wanted to go, but instead straight at a deeply furrowed, country pasture. While my bike runs just fine, I'm still in the process of fixing her up. What I'm having trouble finding is the plastic casing unit that covers the speedometer and tachometer dials. I've searched Ebay and Amazon without luck, and the only info OEM gave me was that the part I need is called case... Now I'm hoping that the entire dashboard unit isn't only sold as a single item, because as a poor college student, $40 isn't just a drop in the bucket.

Any words of wisdom to point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

Post in the for sale/wanted section of the board.  There are some members here that are parts horders who probably have what you need.

Be sure to include part numbers and pictures.  That will draw attention to what you need.

Good luck, and glad you are OK!  Welcome to zie nuthaus  :cookoo:
Bikeless and Broke at the moment...

Thanks for the advice!

And yeah, my dad felt the same way.
I shudder every time I see a student on my campus riding around in shorts and t-shirt without any gear on.
