You knocked over Thumper and lived to tell about it?  And who has finger condoms laying around....hmmm.
Finger condoms for kitty rectal exams (no, just joking) I have a bigass first aid kit - yep - Costco size from Costco.

How can you get mad at  Smudgy? Working with him is all the entertainment I need.

So when he decides to take the bike off of the rear stand and not check to see if anyone was there to keep the bike from falling over - big laugh and big mistake! And Thumper was OK. Bikes do not stand up on just the 2 wheels unless going down the street.

Installed 3w leds in new rear turn signals and finished and installed my homebrewed integrated tail light.

Picked up my new keys today. Had to bring them both the tank and the ignition. Most people use the helmet lock, but my helmet lock is something Adidas and I made by just grinding off the tumblers. Hopefully will get everything put back together by the end of the week, and if the rain stops I'll go for a ride over the holiday!
When in doubt, empty the magazine.

Also of note: the seat lock only has 4 wafers. The ignition has more so you can't use the helmet lock to make the ignition - even if it wasn't a "Bike Cave Special Modification".

Drag bars are on...

I need to buy a side car for the good ole dog to ride in! Lol

GI_JO_NATHAN

That looks interesting with the chopped frame covers on, instead of just removed.

I'm glad you got the key situation figured out!

Maybe we can do a ride Dec 1 or Dec 2?

What muffler tip is that and where did you get it?

Tronspeed3

It's actually the front piece of the old muffler the previous owner had on it that i cut off theres no baffles in it so it's super loud. I think I'm going to section the old muffler and clamp it back on like it was.

Forecast isn't available that far out, but the couple days before are reading low precipitation. I'm in as long as it holds up.

In regards to the wafers, why I believe they wanted the other lock is because they use the seat/tank lock to get those first four cuts into the key, then put it in the ignition for the last two. Less combinations to guess and check. All I know is it saved my about 30 percent to bring in the tank :dunno_black:

I have my new caliper from E-Bay.  Had 1800 miles on it.  Pads are practically brand new!  Sprayed them with brake cleaner, and will keep for next time.

No seized pistons, so I'm good to go.  Installed new pads, and will install on the wheel when I get my OEM spacer parts from the other side of Cyberspace.
Bikeless and Broke at the moment...

I did a complete detail, wash and wax. I went over everything I could with an old tooth brush literally. I waxed everything but the tires. ;)

I also finished wiring the high beam for my bixenon HID projector retrofit

Rub some dirt in it, you'll be fine!

Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

ThatOtherGuy

rode it hard, scraped the boots on the corners and scrubbed nearly the last of the tyre away.  no chicken strips on those tyres

Calpantera

Got her back together and went for a short ride, it was 90F out today so it was perfect. I replaced the tank and went through the carbs, rejetting to .040 and .125. Had to loosen up the throttle cable but it fired right up, no choke even. I think the petcock is still screwed because it felt like it was starving again, switched over the Prime and it seemed better but still went flat after getting on it a bit. Going to sync the carbs next and see if that helps.. It was GREAT to ride though..
Follow the path of least acceptance!

weedahoe

My petcock does that too. I thought I had it fixed since I took it all apart and checked everything out but in the ON position it will eventually stumble and loose power. Im PRI she will get up and GO!

Guess I need to source another petcock. :(
