Has anyone put the windscreen on a gs?

This is all new territory for me but i'm willing to try it out.

I like the look of it (at least until i get a proper fairing).

Any thoughts on this? should i do this? not? be prepared for hell?

any pics/photos of anyone who has done this?

i might get a headlight as well. anyone have any interest in that?

It's been done. The Blast cowls are slightly larger in diameter than the GS even though they both have 7" lamps, but if you don't mind a slight gap and doing a bit of modifications to mount it, it should be fine.

yeah i was hoping for some kind of "how to" or a "here's what you have to do to get it working..."

I have a wind screen from a 2000 buell cyclone on mine.  It fits right snug like on the head light.  It looked good.  I took it off to do some work on the gauges.  Good luck though.

Yes. I had this on my bike for a while until I sourced and modded a different screen that I like better. For the Blast screen to fit like I wanted, it would need to be tilted back more, necessitating moving the headlight out a few inches. It always fit too upright for me. I made the mounting brackets out of aluminum strip for cheap. Also, that link referenced below is old. New Buell parts are very hard to come by, used ones on the internet less so.
