Don't we have a member with a GS500 that would be a perfect match for that burnt car? (what? too soon?)
LMFAO Xune where are you?

If I didn't have so many already
2000 for $800
http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/mcy/3661824343.html

Hi, for sale is my GS500. It needs some tender loving care and a good home. Unfortunately I haven't rode it in several years and it currently doesn't run. This could be a great project for someone with some know how. The only cosmetic blemishes it has were inflicted when it fell while parked. This dented the tank cracked the gauge housing and bent the bars a little (see in the pictures).
Thanks for looking!
P.S. you will need to tow the bike but I can help you load it.

Nice write up about his bike for sale

Hello!! I am wanting to sell my baby...well, my motorcycle anyways. She is a 2000 Suzuki GS500E. I have had her for 2 years and have ridden her damn near every day, rain or shine. She has always done me right, and I have had ZERO issues with her. She gets around 60 mpg, which is fantastic these days, trust me. When was the last time you filled up for $12? I did this morning, and the time before that was 2 weeks ago!
She has not been twisted on, no motor work or pipe or any of that. The only aftermarket stuff that I have done to her was the handlebars and the luggage, which I will probably keep unless somebody wants that too. I even have an extra heated vest that I may be talked in to parting with.
In all seriousness, this bike is fantastic for riders of all skill. It doesnt have 'throw you down' power, but it gets up and goes great. PERFECT beginner bike, PERFECT commuter (yes, even on the freeway). Its quiet, comfy, extremely reliable (seriously, check out some reviews), and low low maintenance. I am asking $2000, or best offer. Once you come ride it, you will buy it.
It does have scratches on the engine case from my buddy (I swear!) dropping it, and the tail plastics are scraped. Not bad though.
If you would like to come see it, please email or text/call at three 6 0, 8 eight 8, 25 eight 0. Thank you for looking!

This one showed up for $700. If I didn't have so many projects.....

I see by the picture the top end has been replaced - it is black and the rest of the motor is silver. Good chance it WON'T run without major work since someone has already been farkling with the motor. Gauges are cracked. Rusty dent on tank, too. Probably crashed then sat.

Hey I already posted this one a while ago!

I am into buying bikes that people have given up on and fixing them up!

RIP Patrick Lajko, I miss you man.
