Unfortunately for me it was Audi Q3 vs. Suzuki GS450E... on the upside I could still ride to work today...

How To Get Rid of Fruitflies

Ok, so from somewhere we got some fruitflies in the kitchen. Even with all fruit hidden these buggers still hang around. But not anymore thanks to this simple DIY fruitfly trap I made and put out last night.

To a small container I added some Apple Cider Vinegar. I then added a couple of drops of dishwashing detergent (in my case, Palmolive green). Stirred with my finger and let sit. Almost instantly the flies headed to the container - the vinegar smell must draw them. At which point I moved away to leave them be.

Either the dishwashing detergent breaks up the surface tension and they sink as soon as they land on the vinegar - or - they try to drink the mixture and it kills them. Either way, they all end up sinking to the bottom of the container. No more fruitflies.

Holy sheet. 80* F. Nice ride, but my winter jacket is hot now.

Is winter gone?  Bike started up with minimal choke. You don't see that at 30*.
