Depends where abouts in Ohio. Top of the state, Cleveland, east of the state, somewhere near Mother Shipton's cave or...?

Every day I get up and go to work with the thought of how I can get me a slice of that 1% ultra-wealth... Not how to be poor, and certainly not how to be a pompous government official.

Let's see? Should I try to be more like Bill & Melinda Gates... Or be like George Bush and Barack Obama.
Give me a break.
And hey... No politics or religion chat here, just cat photos & porn.

Glad to see that Ohio is still in the conversations.

Was in Dallas Texas this weekend for a conference. Good times.

Have to go to the dentist tomorrow. It will not be fun. Drill baby drill.

BM - I wouldn't let them service a bike, wouldn't let them repair a bike, wouldn't even let them look at a bike cause I don't trust them to not loosen something and then claim it needs Fixing too. Bottom line I do NOT trust them at all.

When I got my GS500 I shopped around. BM was the highest priced and least moving on their price. I spoke to the mechanic who I used at the time and he said "let me get you a price for a GS500". Hey, doesn't hurt to get a price, does it? Well, his price was WAY cheaper than anyone else. So he picked the bike up and let me know when it was ready to collect. As I look over the paperwork I discover it had come from none other than BM.  :o

That's right, the same pricks who would NOT budge on their price.

I'm all for giving discounts to your resellers and the  like, but to not move on a price even $100 when a buyer is in the store? And to start with overinflated prices to begin with? Man, not good for customer service at all.

The one thing I will grant them, however, is that their accessory people upstrairs have always done the right thing by me.

Do let us know what they say. We are curious.

I hear ya' Mister, I have definitely heard bad things about their sales guys, but their parts and accessories guys have definitely been excellent for me too. I've gotten a lot of stuff from there due to the location and they've always been helpful. It was one of those guys who spent the time to help with my fork gaiters... a whole $20 sale.

I will let y'all know this evening what I find out today...

In the meantime I should've had the ground for the shed pretty much levelled out ready to plan out the form work for the concrete yesterday, but of course life can never be that simple...

Came across what looked like a storm water pipe that was running near the fence and almost not in the ground at all. Raked the gravel off the top and there it was...  >:(

Couldn't find the bottom end so assumed it went off through the front yard so I looked at the top end... went all the way up to the back of the house then made a 90 degree turn towards the house... and down! Yep, started going down into the ground on about a 45 degree angle or steeper... WTF??!!

Bit the bullet and drilled a hose size hole just near the angle, squirted water down, couldn't see it going anywhere... debated for a while and just chopped it at the start of where the shed base will be. Hose down there, and next minute it's flowing back at me... damn pipe goes nowhere!

So after relocating everything down the side to get to it I lost ages of time but at least the pipe's been cleared and I can get back to levelling again...

At least I've got the bulk of the river rock out of the way so now it's into the clay... and ain't that fun when it's soaked! Had to get the pick into it to get that pipe out and it just gets clogged up with clay non-stop... I'll be so glad when I have concrete down there!

So someone put in pipe that went nowhere? They must have had intentions of Something but just forgot about it all. HA!

Haha that there is my little fluffy man reclining on the bar in the rumpus, his favourite position is near the booze... the couch is actually brown leather but close  :thumb:

He actually enjoys a finger or three full of rum, scotch, gin, or sparkling white wine... and doesn't mind a nice red either... in that photo he hadn't actually been drinking... need to be careful of the spirits mounted on the pourers as he's likely to lick them enough to cause the booze to drip a little for his enjoyment...

Brisbane Motorcycles... well I think I succeeded in confusing them today. They need to wait for a panel beating quote now after taking photos because they don't know WTF to do about a bike with non-stock parts on it... I'm not shocked. Wait and see what happens tomorrow... but the good thing of course is that it's highly likely I can do the swap and run the stock guard and tail light while they get the others repaired. Score on that point  :thumb:

As for the pipe in the ground, the house mate traced it a little more this avo while I kept digging down the side, and it doesn't go much further in either direction from where we found it. It looks to me like someone stuck it there during construction or renovation and buried it under the soil and river rock... there is no way I can see that pipe being of any use at any stage given it goes *up* at a very steep angle before turning 90 degrees and running down towards the street... weird PO's of this house... not the first weird thing we've found...  :dunno_black:

Oh, and got 145 and 150 main jets in the mail today, 145's in, see if my WOT is doing something a little more exciting tomorrow  :thumb:

Yep, got that straight! There's another girl who's worse... but she much prefers red wine followed by some Camembert or Brie... which she enjoys chewing...

The dentist is the biggest up-sell/scam out there.

I have all 32 teeth.  I do not want/need my Wisdom teeth removed.  I have a healthy set of chops minus a few cavities.  Leave me alone already.

Had all mine out years ago... dentist gave me valium and I didn't wake up for an hour and a half... he was a little worried. No one knew at the time that things like valium hit me more than other people my same weight... or they used to anyway, haven't had anything like that for years.
