And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

Looking forward to the ride next Sunday...

And I need to do some wet weather gear repairs by the looks... duct tape maybe? Inside of the left leg at the ankle has started coming apart at the seam where it got melted by the exhaust on the famous hail run last year.

I'll have to take a look and see what I can do... not worth a new suit for yet, just makes the cuff of my pants a little damp really.

10.5 hours work? Every day?  :cookoo:
No Sir. Ten point five hours would make a good night's sleep.
Work should be limited to 6 hours per day, occurring on Tuesdays and Thursdays only.

I don't work that many hours in a day... but when I'm on call it becomes a long week with late night/early morning phone calls and so forth...

peteGS

We get an allowance for the weeks we're on call, and TOIL if we actually have to do any work... the allowance is just for having to be available to answer the phone 24x7 and staying sober...

The bugger for me is I get to answer the phone 24x7 regardless of on call in addition to on call because they consider me to be some sort of... well... experienced type person...

Do you get extra for permanent in call?

peteGS

Well... short answer is no... but I'm negotiating... I "acted" this role for 8 months before becoming permanent which was in the middle of a restructure, so technically I missed an opportunity that the then team leads (now technical leads) got offered... and I'm still trying to get that sorted... I just changed managers this year and he's going to try again for me.
