5,902 miles!!
She took almost a quart of oil,leaked most of that.
NO chain adjustments,chain lubbed every other day ( about every 600-800 miles).
Fuel issues on day #2,solved and no more issues.
Dora maybe the ONLY GS500 to cross the ARTIC CIRCLE,ridden by a woman no less !!

Thank you VERY much for stopping by today. What a thrill to see Dora (formerly Trey). What an awesome bike to go all that distance.

I loved hearing all your stories. You are truly one of the greatest bikers --- no,  THE greatest biker I know.
(Well, maybe really Kate is the greatest and you are #2 - after all, she did ride the GS!)

You guys are legends (and Dora of course) Well done!

I would not hesitate to head out again tomorrow for another 6,000 miles ( after a perm fix of the oil leak )...

What an awesome story!! Many miles clocked, with problems, solutions, good times, great photos, happy riders, and tattoos to never forget the epic journey. This thread had it all!!!
