I must say though, the funniest thing I've seen someone hit was one of my friends. Someone pulled up way to quick in front of him in a lowered Hilux Ute. There was no tray on the Hilux. My friend ended up not being able to stop, but managed to perch his front wheel up and launch his bike into the tray of the ute in front. The look on the drivers face was f%$king priceless.

Self defense is such a gray area.  Cops make initial decisions and that's it.  It is a 50/50 shot you get off, or get arrested.  Might have been best to just walk away, but it worked out.  Having a felony on your record can haunt you.  Just look at Yama, he still has problems from his male prostitution arrest.

besides the occasional bugs and stones that hit my helmet i have caught a bird center of my chest, fortunately i was slowing down and doing about 40. i almost met the side of a sherwin williams semi that pulled right out in front of me to straighten out his big rig

it was a small bird, bigger than a humming bird. im not entirely sure what it was. it came out, did a couple swerving manuvers then the poor little guy must have been tuckered out and hit me

I think thats called a kamikaze if I am not mistaken.

I've had a bird hit me in the knee at about 80mph.

I've been hit with a half-piece of corn on the cob somebody threw out their window. Took that right to the faceshield. Thanks @$$hole. Who the f%$k eats corn on the cob while driving on the freeway?

I've also run over pieces of retread without incident, those pieces that sneak up on you at night.

Lastly, probably the strangest thing I've ever run over was some sort of horn type instrument, maybe a trumpet (was silver colored)? I have no idea because it was gone in the blink of an eye. Saw it bouncing around in the mirror.
