Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

Fvcking slide pins frozen shut on the cage calipers. Took a 4 foot crowbar to get them free. Slippin and slidin now.

God bless that man that will apply a wrench to his own vehicle!
Or a cheater pipe...
or a hammer...
or a crow-bar...
and drink beer while he's doing it...
and do his repairs in the street in the middle of winter...

I am so with you brother!

Broads as in plural?... as in more than one at a time?
Thirty years ago... YES.
But now-a-days, it's more like spank the monkey, have a beer, and go help you with the brake job.

A man's gotta' know his limitations.

No, wait, I ask you this...

Why it that when all you have is a hammer... everything looks like a nail?

It's a ingrained action that when in possession of a hammer you must nail things

Nope. This was more my style: big slab of roasted pork with hot honey wine at the Christmas Markets.
This is REAL pork you can't get in the USA (I had a week free of Monsanto in my food!). The fat was not squishy and greasy. It was firm, sweet and delicious!

I've never done Jury Duty. I always send them back a letter getting myself out of it.  :thumb:

Mister, I did that several times. Like Internet streaming radio, you only have several skips before you get put on the jury.

Ah different down here. They cannot force you into financial hardship. If you work for yourself, doing Jury Duty = financial hardship. If you normally work 80 hours a week, jury duty = financial hardship. You don't even need to prove financial hardship, just use it as your excuse. Eg. I ask to be excused from jury duty as doing jury duty would cause financial hardship. You could pile it on if you like, mention mortgage payments etc.

Other excuses... letter from work requesting you be let off as your absence will cause delays to important projects; muscular/skeletal/health issues that preclude you from sitting down for longer than 30 minutes at a time at which point you need to get up and walk around; medically certified hearing loss; jury nullification (but this one requires you to be present during the selection process to express your disbelief in the law the accused is being judged by); child care duties or other carer duties; a disbelief in the judicial system as a whole how it is all rigged, blah blah blah to the point of conspiracy, in a letter asking to be excused.

Course, if you are happy doing it, then enjoy your time and tell us all about it  ;) ;)

Happy about jury duty?
The reason they put you in jail if you don't go is cause people are not happy about serving.

Then again... Ive served many times over the last thirty years and I have met a few old geezers that told me they enjoyed serving.

Hey jester, are you an old geezer?
I'm thinking that any guy that is banging two broads at a time and doing brake jobs in the snow cant possible be a geezer.  :dunno_black:
