Jim, thanks for the offer. I'll let you know, but it will take me a while to recover.  Don't hold it though.

Um... Another Ej, or another GS500 rider that lives in Jersey?

The young fellow I sold my bike to lives in the next town over but... He is much too well adjusted to mingle with this gang of hoons.
Just saying.

Indeed. ive been learning the metric system :). I will freak friends out if im visiting them,  by tuning in a euro or aussie radio station, and get their weather. imagine their surprise and bewilderment, when I laugh when they go cover the car or plug in battery when  weather says tomorrows high 18 . I wait til after they finish the work before I explain the metric system. and the conversion.

As I was saying to an English friend, even though metric has been in use here for many decades, people will jump between them.

If you say you're 6ft tall people understand that. Tell them you're 183cm tall and they look at you with a blank expression.

Slowly back up a car.. how far? couple feet. how far now? 50mm. Or... how far? about a meter. Now how far, six inches.

No confusion. We happily use what we intrinsically know. The idiomatic nature of language makes it so  :thumb:

Bought my wife a new 22" iMac about 18 months ago because I got tired of her always asking me "Honey, how do I..." questions when she was at the computer. I figured the iMac would be easy for her to use and we would both benefit from that.
We un-boxed that new iMac and it was beautiful!
I was very impressed with the styling and great build quality.

...But alas, it in the long run it caused more trouble than it was worth. :technical:

In desperation I bought a couple of Mac text books and an on-line course on how to make the transition from PC to an iMac. I also spent lots of money on mice & keyboard gadgets to make it more like a PC. I tried, I really tried to go iMac. I assumed that iMac would be as wonderful as my iPads and iPhones are. (I love iOS).
But no. After several months of my wife constantly asking me Mac questions that I simply could not answer, I bought her a new Dell running the absolutely vile Win 8.1 operating system and buried the iMac in the basement with all the other expensive junk in my life that I classify as "Broken Dreams & Empty Promises".

Granted, a Chinese made Dell running Windows-8 is hardly user-friendly, but compared to the fuken worthless iMac I suffered with, her new Dell just fine.
And best of all... I can once again answer about 95% of my dear wife's never ending "Honey, how do I..." computer questions.  :thumb:

I jumped onto an iMac the other day to edit a vlog together and loved how easy it was to use and how logical it all was. My problem is all my music , porn, photos, and vlogging stuff I have no ides on how to file it away in the Mac apparently it all goes on the finder but f%&ked if I know how to organize it

You're young, smart, and motivated. You'll make the transition to iMac and produce videos at near pro quality.

Live long and prosper.
