Hey Yamma,

I enjoyed your "last day at work" post.
Your psychology is good.  :thumb:
I love it when the one guy that can actually fix anything gets laid-off from a shop.

I say relax for a while and then go scouting for work in better weather.

Its funny cause I go in to observe lol stuff needing repair is piling ujp. then all hell will break loose. this takes a minimum of 3 ppl to run it, 2 up front and myself taking care of issues.since im out, its piling up. ahh well Cest la Vie.  Cant afford this time off its driving me crazy. I don't like being idle.

6 more inches tonight with an expected two more feet on Sunday.
Did I ever mention how much my job S U C K S  when it snows.

We Ohioans have been through hell and back. Both the USA and Canadian groundhogs say more winter. Bring it!  All you jersey people can do is argue over bridges and host Super Bowls. Here on Ohio, we persevere dammit!

So ..... The Hell of Ohio , it's snowy and cold!???? ..... Wow!  ... Do they say "when hell freezes over" there much???  ;)

As a former resident of Lockbourne Ohio, I am qualified to say that massive summer rain storms, and snow on the ground all winter long is what Ohio does best!
(oh, and droughts too).

And of course soybeans. Countless and miles of em'

this happened once in west Chicago. had three entrances to our 4 square. ( typical 1910 era house. front door back door, and door to coal bunker. got snowed in, I got out via coal bunker. since house didn't use coal anymore, we used gas. it wanst THAT high, just enough to make exit via the two doors impossible.

Snow turned out 9-10" here, but the snow crew did an excellent job at clearing it this time around - hardly any delays or emergency response.  Calling for only 1-2" Saturday here - walk in the park.

been doing both for ages .. got 2 different nose mowing machines too... a rotary one and a reciprocating one.... i REALLY HATE nose hairs tickling me ...

thing is... long term ... the hairs seem to grow sideways/around the circumference etc ... to avoid being cut or pulled... tricksy nose hairs!! .. my body system definitely wants the hairs to exist .. but my awake brain doesnt like the tickle..  :icon_rolleyes:

if i could/can get the funds for it and its possible... id get friggin laser treatment up there and just deal with the 'scorched earth' policy aftereffects ..
