Big update for you guys!

Got the fairings in and installed the new 2007+ master cylinder

Laid the seat cowl on, no hardware yet

Was going to put the cf gas tank pad on too but got lazy and was angry about installing lol but here is the new master cylinder. Much nicer than the old brick style one.

fake carbon fiber matches pretty well

This picture makes it look super red haha. I wanted it to be red like this, but I'm not dissapointed with what I got.

Let me know what you guys think, should have it all done by tommorow. Auctmarts forgot to send me the correct windscreen for the 05+, they sent me the 03 instead! But I have fixed that and am waiting for the correct one. Also need to install an LED relay because having an led integrated taillight and LED front flushmounts makes the stock relay act crazy and blink super fast cause of the lack of a power draw.

I also picked up some R&G case savers for when I decide to start track days. They are taking forever to be shipped as they were on back order... They look like this when installed though (not my bike dont have them yet)

Will keep you guys posted.

Did some more stuff today :)

New dash view!

Overall extremely pleased with the outcome. LED relay will get installed and will hopefully be back on the horse by Saturday. Busy Friday... :(

Haha thanks cbr, how is your motor swap going anyways? Is that project still kicking??

I fixed my indicator issue by installing a new LED relay, but then realized that the damn thread stems on the right flush mount broke lmao... Not one thing its another huh. Also went to start it on this beautiful day and the battery is dead from all work and no ride for 5 weeks lol. Damn....

Will be out riding tomorrow!

Photo's courtesy of my gf!

I love it! The red surprises me every time haha. I figured it would only be logical to do a before and after. I cleaned the rims and cleaned a ton of grease and grim off of the chain and sprocket before taking this pic!

And you did that without being at the Bike Cave and without adult supervision and you didn't get things on upside down?
WOW! You are a fast learner!

Beautiful day in Washington so we decided to get a group ride going and ended up getting about 20 people to go out and ride the twisties near Mt Rainier. Ended up being almost 60 I think with clear skies :banger:

This was my first twisty mountain ride on this thing, was such a blast! I managed to stay close to all the guys with the liter bikes, and was in the front for the whole thing. Also my new Motegi suit is freaking awesome, super easy to move around on the seat while switching positions through the corners, and very comfortable when in an aggresive position. We had two guys go down, both on Yamahas :P They learned their lesson, haha jkin. No body got hurt, damage totaled to a broken blinker on one bike, and a broken gear shifter on the other, and of course, scratches.

Heres some pictures of the meet up and some gorgeous views I saw when I left the pack.

This was when I left the pack to go home, had to stop and snap some pictures in a couple places.

Quality kinda sucks cause I only had my phone. Camera would have been too bulky for the suit.

Today was a good day lol. Totaled just shy of 300 miles, a whopping 275.

Haha no problem! And na those were the only pictures I took. I could take a pictures of all the bugs me and her slaughtered together on yesterdays ride though! Hahaha.

You need to update your thread! That was one of the threads I was interested in back when I had my GS but it dissapeared :( Hahaha

Sexy bike indeed

Haha thanks Golly.

Little update on the R&G case savers, apparently there are tons of delays in shipping other than the first delays that he told me about, so at this point the seller offered me a refund and said I can just send the money again when the part actually comes in. I agreed to this, but have not seen any further action from the seller. Hoping for the best lol.

It was a pop quiz to see if you were up to the task.

Beemer was fun. Put about 650 miles on in 3 days.

jacob92icu

Damnnn I hope that seat was comfy! Haha. Started having a sore a$$ a couple days after my 300 mile ride on the cbr hahaha...

I may have to buy a Beemer for long trips and sell off a few GS500's to make room.
Yes - I just hijacked your thread.
About 180 miles from Bend to Myrtle Creek going over the pass past Crater Lake. Next time I'll get different flights to Redmond, OR so I get in earlier and have time to explore Crater Lake.

This was my first time riding through there. Return trip got down to 34 degrees with snow flurries and rain. Still fun. Heated grips and barkbusters helped keep hands warm. New Icon over-pants, Tourmaster boots and my Belstaff leather jacket and I was in top fashion and warm. (I bought all that sheeeet at the motorcycle show last month).

Rode to airport and parked free (thanks BrianRC for telling me how to do it). Carry on all my gear. PACKED LIGHT. Only took the boots and wore them for 4 days - so I guess that means they are VERY comfortable.

Oregon Dual Sport Rental picked me up at the Redmond, OR airport (Superb service from them!).  4 days of fun! TSA-Pre means I no longer have to take off my shoes - and they didn't beep their thingies so I was good to go!

jacob92icu

That would be hilarious if you got a beemer for the bike cave. You would have to keep it outside!
