A double-post news flash. . .

While temperatures hit a record low 6F in New york yesterday, Australia hit 108F at a place called Shark Bay.
My fellow Yankees, you read that right: 108 Fahrenheit !  >:(

BTW: A foot of snow coming here Sunday night. <crap>

And Sorry, but I'm forced to use the Imperial system of measure by my government.
You "damn foreigners" will have to do your own conversions to the metric system...

I've been to Shark Bay. It is the Western most part of mainland Australia and one of the places you can go swimming with dolphins and dugongs. Didn't see any sharks when I was there. It also wasn't 104 degrees but given its location, that wouldn't be an uncommon temperature during summer.

A small area of Shark Bay is also home to Stromatolites, the oldest living things on earth.
Wherever you may be, there you are.

Yep has been warm here lately! Perfect for riding of course :)

And thanks Janx!

Went to nimbin and Byron bay yesterday. Within 2 min of hopping off the bike at nimbin I got hit up for weed. Haha never fails to disappoint. Just as we were leaving copped a huge whiff of the green stuff wafting down the Main Street haha
Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

The rare winters day that the roads are not covered with snow, ice, or frozen crap patches.

Also...
Banzai, thank you for another good example of quality data-posting here at LPW. Good input Sir.

Big ride on with the Katana boys on Saturday, they're heading to Nambucca Heads but I'll turn back around Casino or somewhere... can't wait!

Then I have to do some study and get another certification this month... I hate study and exams! Isn't being certifiable enough these days?  :cookoo:

VMware Certified Advanced Professional 5.1 - Data Centre Administration... so exciting! 3 1/2 hours of exam bliss to look forward to... and no results for 10 to 14 days afterwards  :technical:

Now Cods and Mister... either of you up for meeting me somewhere around Casino or Murwillumbah this coming Saturday? I'll be departing the Katana ride at Casino and riding solo back so I'm looking for some fun roads down that way...
