canoe or kayak?

.... pity you all the way over there..... was driving back past some roadworks last week.... and i dont exactly know what they are doing with these things (earthwork buttresses/fillers?).... but there is a huge stack of huge hard foam blocks.... the blocks are probably 14' x 5' x 3' ... they are also easily accessible by road at the moment....

at the time i thought .. "gee, couple of those would fit in back of pantech, bit of carving and filing and sanding.... you coul make a kik ass dinghy or canoe outta one of them!!" ... but sadly i had to keep going cos i had no handy EJ to lift the other end! .... coulda made a pair of boats!!  ;) :icon_rolleyes: :thumb:

His 450 loves him. This I know.  :whisper:

Wife bought a kayak a few years back. Don't like. It's too serious. Rather have a canoe so I can relax, transport a beer cooler, and drift along comfortably.
Maybe even post on LPW via my iPad mini.

Hahahahaha something like that... well... nah not really, there's just nothing else like it around I don't think, at least not in Brissie anyway...

Unless someone's seen it and copied it? I do get a lot of comments on the pipe...

Get a power boat or a jet boat like a normal person
Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

Power Boat? I'm fuken POOR mate! >:(
Them rich Americans you hear about went out with the Regan Era.
Since the Leftists came into fashion here it has been decided that if we are "all" poor (except for the politicians) then it will be more "fair" for the lazy's & illegals.

The state of the USA is pretty much defined in the image below...

I prefer a kayak over a canoe anyday... Have you considered a larger style kayak such as an ocean kayak?  More room than a typical kayak, many are two seaters and have room for plenty of cargo (read 'bee ears' ;))

Wife has a 16 foot Native Watercraft kayak. It cost her well over $1000.00 second hand.
The dam thing is like an oceangoing tug boat, IMHO.

But really, kayaks are for people that actually know what the hell their doing out there.
Perhaps what I really need is a good old inner tube raft.
Can't flip or sink, regardless of beers consumed. :thumb:

Yeah! ... I just mentally cringe a little thinking about binning it in mid air .. From the higher positions and smacking into the water! Lol

... Made me think though.... That pickle barrel job...... I have a pickle barrel/plastic 44gal drum at work... Been there for years.... And I've been wondering what to do with it...... Now I think I know!!  :icon_mrgreen:

Damn nice watercraft follow up, Janx.
When you gonna make another abandon train station vid?

Actually it was the fact that you were deep-off-road with the 500 that made it interesting.
Next vid cut straight through the jungle! :thumb:

Gotta record other abandoned stuff yet ... But the part 1.5 of that day, keeps chopping stuff I want to use when I chop a bit I don't want in edit... Software glitch...

Started edit part 2 .... Hour into edit ... "Unexpected error close program" ... And I didn't save! ... So gotta start fresh... Oh well...

Working on it all though
