What does the displacement work out to be?

Goes from 487 (stock) to 493.5 (0.5 mm over).

Yeah, you will never notice that. What was the reason you had it done? We're you getting bad compression? Does suzuki have any larger OEM pistons?

Suzuki used to make a 1.0 mm over piston. I tried hard to get a pair, but they are discontinued and out of stock here in the US and in Europe too. Bet you anything that you'd never notice a difference with those either. The performance increase from pistons comes mostly from compression, then from the rest (displacement increase, lower weight, more aggressive valve lift/duration they allow).

Bike was using more oil than I was comfortable with. IIRC I was up to a liter per 600 miles. Happened quickly too. It barely used any oil for 30K miles and then it did all of a sudden.

Not sure what model oil cooler, I didn't buy it myself.

Just measured though - ~5.75 inches tall x 11.0 inches wide. Likely this model then:

I did ride the GS to work today though. Still handles better. And no matter what anyone says, carbs still make for better/smoother throttle response.
