A little about me:

32-year old, computer engineer in Toronto, Canada. I'm about to get married in less than 2 weeks, so all my buddies are teasing me that that's why I got my motorcycle license 2 weeks ago. Last cry for freedom, or something like that!  :lol:

I just picked up a 2004 GS500F last Friday. What a gorgeous machine!

Hey , I am Patricia. 42 year old single mom of three grown boys.  Self-employed.  Just sighned up today.  I have a purple GS500E.  I had my first "moving crash" last weekend at a place in Georgia called Deals Gap.  Went around a curve faster than my ability and ol purple slung me down!  She ran over my left leg and parked herself on the inbankment across the road, like a good girl.  Virtually no damage to the bike but my leg is bruised, bumped and sore, but not broken.   Got back on as a passenger the next day and rode "old purple" this past Saturday.  It was either get back on now, sore leg and all, or probably not get back on again and I love riding too much to quit now.

I own one 2003 DRZ400S and will officially own a 1998 GS500E by the end of next week.

I love mountain biking, riding motos, taking pictures, and eating good food of any ethnicity.

Brief: Just bought '90 GS500 w/14k mi. and in decent shape. Wanted good little beginner bike to learn on. I had no idea there were so many GS500 enthusiasts out there! I'm glad I ended up with a cool little bike with a mini-cult following! Once I get the gen-mar risers on the bars my 5'5" body will be super-comfortable (right now my wrists are killing me).

My man & I are vehicle enthusiasts. Between us we have: '95 BMW M3 (mine), '88 4Runner (mine), '90 BMW 735 iL (his), '89 Mazda p/u (his), '03 CBRF4i (his), '81 Galaxie ski boat (his--thank god, it's brown!). A lot of older machinery but it all works great! Luckily he's a mechanic...

I do tech support for a Microsoft Outsourcer and just picked up my non-emission passing 1989 GS500E ( only 17k miles ) last week.

Had a 1996 Yamaha Seca II last year but went down hard in June.

Getting back on as soon as I get this one plated  :mrgreen:

I am a native Rhode Islander, 47 years old, married with 3 daugters aged 14, 16 & 19.  
I am a Mechanical Design Engineer currently working for a company which manufactures equipment for the Biopharmaceutical Industry.

Took the MSF course & got my liscence last year but only got my 2001 GS500 this past week.

I have always messed with cars & trucks, & I am really looking forward to getting into motorcycles now!

Also got a 1959 Vespa 400 microcar in restoration limbo.
I love mountain biking (trail rider) as well, but the old Kona Hardtail does not seem to be getting the same usage since I got my GS500!

Hello there!

27 year old female from New Hampshire (currently on a short layover in Boston).  Got my licence and took the MSF class 5+ years ago after getting off the back of my first bikeride (an r1) and saying 'that was better than sex.'

He tried to tell me (and then show me) I was doing it wrong - but 9 times out of 10 so far, I think i'd take the bikeride!  :lol:

Currently work as an IT Vixen, going back to school to be a nurse midwife (babycatcher!)

39 year old married mom of one in Oregon.  Took my first ride (on the back of a GPz 750) back in 1986 and was hooked from then on...past bikes have included a Honda CB360, a Honda CB400T, a Honda VF500F Interceptor, a Moto Guzzi 850 LeMans, another VF500F, a BSA B50T (set up for vintage road racing), and a Kawasaki 250 Ninja (set up for 250 superbike), in that order.  

Mr. BlueByYou is a Britbike guy from way back but had an '89 GS500 way back when (he now has a Kawasaki W650), so when it was time for me to get back in the saddle again after a long time toting BlueByYou Jr. around in a car seat I was happy to find that the Suzuki was making just the right bike for me, and blue, too!  How convenient that I could buy a bike that matches my leathers!
