What do you think about the SV650 shock? I think it looks mint! but is it a bad impact on your handling?

With the higher back end the turn in feels a little more positive.

But after 15 mins of riding it felt natural again, defiantly not a detriment at all.
feed back, comfort and handling have all greatly improved after installation

Man the bike looks amazing really love the paint and gauges, where did u get that gear indicator from would love to do something like that on mine

crispy_22

Bike looks great!  :thumb:

What material did you use to make the windscreen? and also where'd you get that gauge cluster?

wakey86

The windscreen was made from a sheet of polycarbonate heat bent into shape.

The gauge is a koso copy from eBay.

I recently added a 6000k hid conversion with custom cutoffs,
New chrome tank badges
And a race style filler cap :)

crispy_22

was the gauge cluster hard to install/wire at all? also, does it have a gear indicator or anything like that?

wakey86

It doesn't have a gear indicator in the dial but they are cheap enough on eBay.

The wiring wasn't difficult just attach the ignition sensor to the cool etc.

Sooo loving the 14t front sprocket :)

It has a lot more acceleration, definetly by the butt dyno.

The front end will come up if asked and the 10-15kph lost at top end doesn't worry me.

It's so much more responsive, I do recommend

14t front? Stock rear?

Still on the stock chain with stock length or did you have to take links out?

wakey86

Quick update, got bored of the black/purple tank

So I re sprayed it with a tweaked Maserati red, it's a 3 layer pearl with a silver candy base

Beautiful blood red in the shade with a bright candy in the sun.

I also added dna holographic glitter to the mix before flow coating with aviation clear coat

Pics soon

Definitely jealous of your painting ability.  It would be awesome if you could give us some pointers, or help on some affordable spraying equipment setup.
