Hi folks,

I'm moving away from racing the GS500. I have something planned for next year, but first I have to clean out the garage.

I have a bunch of performance parts, race parts, and spares for the GS. I'll consider offers.

1. Yoshimura full race exhaust for GS500. Steel, with aluminum can. $100. Sale Pending.

2. Yamaha R6 4 way adjustable shock. I have 2. This shock is a bolt-on upgrade for the GS500. Huge improvement over stock, perfect spring rate for GS500. $40. Sale pending on both

3. GS500F bottom end. Complete and bolted up. Includes rods, but not pistons, cylinders, or heads. Perfect for anyone who's ruined their 500F by not checking the oil weekly. I have a spare head, pistons, cylinders, and gaskets if needed. $400.

4. GS500E rebuilt bottom end, never tested. Needs a new generator rotor. $200. Will refund if it doesn't run. Again, I have cylinder block, heads, etc for this.

5. GS500F tank, with dent. $100. Perfect race spare. I also have a single-circuit petcock that fits this tank; perfect for race use/maintenance.

6. GS500E/F carbs. I have 1 3 circuit push/pull carb, and several F carbs. $75 for F carb, $45/ea for E carb. A couple of them have modified jetting.

7. Suzuki RGV 250 swingarm, wheel, linkage, spacers, etc. I have spacers to fit this to the GS500, but it will require some frame modifications for clearance. $300. Sale Pending

8. GS500 SS rear brake line. $20. Sale Pending

9. Frame, no title. Free, if you strip the parts.

10. Swingarms, electronics, misc stuff. Free if you pickup.

11. Misc engine bolts, parts, etc. Clutch baskets, electronics, wiring harness, bolts, Starter motors, stands, handlebars, lots of other stuff. I don't have time to do one or two bits at a time; you need to order a box of stuff.

Pity the shipping costs to the Netherlands would be too expensive... :(

That exhaust: is it just normal loud or is it ridiculously loud?

I know a little bit about a lot of things - usually just enough to be dangerous.

I've been slow responding to PMs, sorry folks.

Someone has expressed interest in the exhaust,. To be honest, I've had it for 2 years, and never installed it. I've owned Yoshimura products in the past... It's going to be louder than stock, however Yoshimura builds their exhausts for performance not volume.

Burning, if you get the chance could you measure the length of the rear brake line? I might be able to use it on a different bike.

No rush on my end, and if somebody buys it before me I won't be offended.

It's opener there in the wide open air...

do you have any pictures of the exhaust?
You don't own a project bike..
The Project bike owns you!

PMs replied.

Sale pending on swingarm, both shocks, brake lines, and exhaust.

Someone already expressed interest, but I will post up a picture. There's some rash on the can. It is however a very rare full yoshimura system. The cosmetics are probably repairable by a decent exhaust shop.

Updated. Most of the good stuff is sale pending.

I'm sorry for being very slow to respond; I'm massively over-worked right now and it's hard to find bandwidth to get parts out.

Here are the exhaust images:

Sale is already pending on these though.
