Saturday morning... I have shaZam! to deal with.

Finish painting the daughter's bedroom,
Wife has house guests coming over this evening so the whole damn house has to be cleaned,
Kid's Honda Civic needs to have upper ball joints replaced, (and I already but it off too long).
I need to ride.

I have to continue chiseling concrete however we bought an air hammer to use instead of the humongous heavy electric one that's giving me forearms like Popeye...

Then on the public holiday on Friday I went to give it a go but the compressor gave up the ghost... and today is predicted to be 40 degrees so I won't be getting the electric one out either, think I'll be sitting in the pool swilling beer...

Thursday night it snowed here so our pool weather is gone for at least 6 more months.

My missus wants a nice pool behind the house. .. good luck with that! ..  I ain't adding cleaning a Damn pool to my chore list! .. there's a public pool 2 mins walk away and the ocean 10 min drive!

Pools are a lot of work every day.

Ive has several above-ground pools over the years when my kids were young.

Kinda' fun at times but have to be serviced every day regardless of if you use them or not.

Just saying.

Got the 89 gsxr running and almost rode it, but oil line blew in his drieway   . sourcing parts for him now lol

On the train to work.... 3hr45 min sleep. .  Blarg!

At the old house we had an above ground chlorine pool... a lot of work and was like a bowl of soup in summer.

This house has a bigger in-ground salt water pool with a proper pool cover. Keeping the pool cover on keeps the maintenance down and the salt and chlorinator takes care of keeping the chemicals under control. It's still some work but not as much and in summer it stays perfect 

Of course it helps that we purchased the house with the pool...

Not quite 6am and over 24C/75F already...

And I forgot to mention we had the ducks come by for a visit on Friday too! They had a swim and then sat on the side of the pool for a few minutes before flapping away. Very cool
