I tried riding both my gs and my sportster at the time in the snow. Didnt drop either, but couldnt go much faster than 5 maybe 10 mph

That's sucky! They're now predicting showers for Saturday

i think 250 would be overpowered in snow. My goped gtr the 45 mph one got hairy in snow

That looks scary. I like the mk2 VW in the beginning though.

Had fun racing the thing against it. The day i blew its engine, i outran a ford taurus. I changed gear ratios. Iirc was a 7/70. Previous it was a 7/94. Course the ford was occupied 4x, maybe 1200lbs of passengers. The ped with me on it maybe weighed 190lbs

In high school I rode a 1984 KDX200 in the snow with just knobbys and it was super hairy in the powerband. Got stuck on a hill though, I was walking beside it, full throttle pushing it up the hill with the rear tire just spinning the whole time. Couldn't stop very well, although I think the front/rear drums were an advantage at that point.

Now they're saying possible shower for tomorrow, most likely in the afternoon... I reckon I'll just pack the rain suit and see what happens

When i converted it to the interceptor model, by a carb, gearing and tire t w eak went faster. Added a set of kenda 671s, still could offroad it. Just had to be careful lol. Cant wait to subaru the mongoose
