I have mentioned before about how I was deliberately using e10 in the bike. . With no apparent ill effects, apart from replacing fuel lines which may have needed doing anyway. .

Bike has sat with half a tank of the stuff since Sept 2014, looked in there... no fungus, no 'compost', no rust.... started bike, no gurgling, no stuttering, no miseries... revved it a bit. . Still no drama. ..

Granted I expect that when doin registered and I can have a bit of a ride. . The old fuel might make the bike a little sluggish, but any type of old fuel can do that...

I'm gonna take a sample out of the lines and check it too... before riding. ..

I suspect there won't be as many devastating moments/discoveries as folk make out!?

If things do go bad I will accept told you so's. .. but reckon that won't be necessary!

New jets in, still got a flat spot 

Needles lifted to highest position last night but gonna be a lot of rain today/tomorrow so it'll be an interesting test ride to work...

Well needles are too high because she bogs right when the throttle opens... horrible... then she goes then she almost immediately hits the stumbling point...

When I get her through it and the throttle open she feels choked up...

I need to some time check out a potential exhaust leak and then get the carbs off and get some carb cleaner and compressed air through all the passages like I should've done in the first place... what's to bet I was wrong and there is some gummed up fuel in there somewhere?

Gummed ... air or fuel leak... a seal not quite right?

You've no idea how close they are to doing just that Janxy!!! So over spending so much time on this...

Ran it for a few minutes yesterday, can't detect an exhaust leak from either header.

Ducked up to Supercheap and bought a can of carb and throttle body cleaner... I'd prefer to do a full and proper dip but I need her back on the road tomorrow.

They're coming off the bike today and getting dismantled and gonna get a spray through every circuit, let it soak for a bit, do it again, then blow through with compressed air.

I'm thinking my problem is going to be the mixture screws... they sit vertically from underneath so what's to bet even though the float bowls were drained there's gummed up fuel in there because there's no way for that to drain without removing them.

I knew I should've cleaned the carbs before putting them on... and I hope that's all the issue is!

You didn't clean them? ..  to the naughty corner! Lol
