The side closest to the camera has a specific shape that dictates its use.

Hmm... let's start some questions...

is the dimply stuff on the back side to help with grip?
I'll have no idea what piece you're referring to unless you include one of the following: Doobly doo, thing-a-ma-jigger, or dibbledy dop.

:icon_rolleyes: ... Another item that I've seen over the years.... And no memory of what it is...

... Something something to line up/align something

And it's small...

... Hang on... It looks kinda like a screw holder thingy ... Saves the fingers from getting a screwdriver tip in them in difficult access situations..... Only ever seen them in plastic/polymer though...

Kinda like... But not exact

No, not even remotely, but a screw of a certain kind IS part of it.

It could be, I could see how it would, but I think the intended result was more aesthetic in nature.

New hint.  It is used to work on something that is common on most two wheeled vehicles.

Common on 2-wheeled vehicles, but uncommon on 4-wheelers?

It's 3am and I've been awake 15 mins. .. errk! ..  find something today :thumb:

Watcher

Elmojo, in actuality since its from a bike multitool the chain jig also happens to be designed to be taken off the screw and used as a spoke wrench.
Chain tool is what I was looking for, though.
