Anyone know what type of bulbs you need for the tachometer and high beam indicator?

Also, can you point me to a video showing how to disassemble the dash so I can get to them?

Thanks.

I'll have no idea what piece you're referring to unless you include one of the following: Doobly doo, thing-a-ma-jigger, or dibbledy dop.

I contacted SBL and asked specifically if they offer any non-polarized 74 LED bulbs (necessary for the turn signal indicator on the cluster). The answer remains "no."

Since I don't want to go the diode/solder/heatshrink route, I'm keeping the indicators incandescent. Bummer.

I don't know whether a shaved down T10 will fit into the indicators; this might be viable since I believe there are nonpolarized T10 LEDs.

Well, original bulbs are T10...

I use/used the #194 bulbs available in most all auto parts and Walmart stores in both my 97 and 02 GSs.  It makes the high beam indicator a bit brighter but that works for me.  Use same in speedo, tach, and indicator lights.
