Heh! Don't poison yourself with that Beamer stuff.
We used to have a Suzuki GS guy here that went Beamer on us. It wasn't pretty.  :nono:

Stay poor, stay humble, stay Suzuki.

Greetings Janx has informed me you all wish to see the new bike... Just for you guys here it is. How are we all?

Some say that he submitted a $20000 expense claim for some gravel

And that if he'd write a letter of condolance he would at least spell your name right.

There was one of those on its side on top of a work mate's brand new S1000R which was then on top of a scooter yesterday... strong winds at the moment and over they went...

Fortunately it looks like the extreme lean angle of the worn side stand axle of the wee beastie saved it from a similar fate  :thumb:

Errrr... In other... Ummmm ... News....

Thursday at work ... I discovered that Suzuki DR650's have a secret parked bike mode......

They become magnetic! ...... Especially where it involves heavy garbage truck bumper bars!  :icon_neutral:

.... Stood it upright again..... No people around as it was 6am... Took details down and left one of the standard council incident advice forms on the bike..... Reported when back at depot after run finished ...

Bike was under a flexicover and that was tied in tight with something under the front end, so I couldn't get the cover up to see any damage..... Suspect right mirror, right bar end, maybe both right blinkers.....  :icon_rolleyes:

We aren't allowed onto resident property or to door knock to find owner.... Time issues, insurance issues and trespass 'rules' .... Plus sometimes in the past workers have found the owner and it escalated into argument no matter how many sorry so were said....

So... Bike owner has truck fleet number and rego plate on incident form, hope it was minimal damage and easily fixed...... So there is minimal downtime....

Caught the rear wheel and tail light by maybe 20mm?? .... Tight street.... Felt bad but nothing more to be done after the fact!
