Be aware, this is not very wise advise!

Great build so far, look forward to seeing it finished  :)

forks are getting done in next couple days, then can get them on including headlight etc... Every bolt I use is stainless, a lot of patience getting them all the right size since there's so many of them

Interesting. . . The paint looks amazing, though.

Rear wheel on, just need to add a new sprocket to it and attach brake mount, the shock once I've got will lift the bike up, just busy cleaning it up.

Slowly getting there, the dark nights and Christmas coming up ain't helping, atm I'm busy doing the panels for the rear/ seat, rebuilding brakes and painting, had to customise tank bracket for it to fit, customise the tail tidy to fit brake light, gonna get chain and sprockets soon so I can straighten back wheel up and tighten it up, also getting new coils and plugs, new frogs, levers, braided hoses, pegs, speedo etc...

The light hasn't come out as good as I wanted, ordered a 7" instead of an 8 but can't send back as I've customised it to fit the sidelight in so gonna have to live with it, the engine will be getting painted and that will be last thing I do then all engine bolts replaced with stainless, have bought a better loom as mine was all over the place, have bought some second hand carbs as mine wer shot, every bolt I have replaced with stainless, apart from brakes, I've replaced the R6 shock with a katana, my front brake is now a nissin and rear break is a ajp (not sure if good or bad, come with bike), also need new ignition as mine seems t have a dodgy wire, also need to custom me battery box, get a short exhaust, so still way to go and sorry if this status seems a bit all over but thought I'd just let yous know all my plans so far 😂

I have a hard mounted headlight bracket on my GS, and it blows headlight bulbs, barely a week out of each bulb.
I believe the stock rubber mounted ears are the best bet for keeping em alive.
Cool.

I have inserted rubber between the forks and the brackets if that could help

Sorry about the updates, but I've been  fixing few issues, snapped bolt in cylinder head so got a replacement and currently cleaning valves and replacing seals, also in process of making a new seat pad, brakes are now back on and bled, once valves are done I'll be doing the shims, I'll put a pic on tomoro after I've done few more things to it

No going back, start of my stree tighter chop <- Your title ???

Dude that is right up there with mis spelling "Marry Chrasmas" in Christmas lights.

Or the ever popular "Satan Claws" is coming to town.

How about "Satin Lives" - a cult of fabric worshippers no doubt.

Cool.
