I hear ya' Janx!!! Cars drive me nuts... a little spring in the door lock mechanism on my wife's Festiva gave out the other day meaning you could unlock the drivers door but not open it... had me cursing and sweating for hours just figuring out what it was... then more hours trying to find a replacement... then more hours trying to make a not quite the right size spring fit... but at least it works as good as it used to now...

Got my left hand mostly working now, so this im QUITE happy with. the pc is working, so no issue there. was in Hosp. from 24th thru 30th. I cant give my christmas gifts until the mrsa is gone. ( my artwork) so delays there. but all in all, i survived, and am VERY greatful. with the pc running, i can use dragon, i deactivated the smartphone, due to data usage. back on little phone. so can postwhore on the fly. no plans on getting that ankle fusion unless ABSOLUTELY necessary. braced footwear and im good i feel. Me and ORs and casts seem to not like eachother. all in all i made out well. Oh a mystery gift card from besty buy as well for 25. no idea from whom on the homefront. btw ej get a case of some sort for the ipad. armor that pig lol.

Got the typical rubber-ized case for the iPad-Pro.
It seldom leaves the house since it is WiFi only so no chance of travel or work related damage.
My PC is a 2008 home-built dinosaur so the iPad will be my emergency backup if/when the old PC dies.

You know how it is: when I'm not out on a job my life revolves around LPW.

I swear by otterbox defender series. i had one with a samsung galaxy tab 1 it dell OUT of a moving car at speed, no damage whatsoever to tablet. ill go iphone 5 or 6 when prices come down. and they can be activated on the cheap. but in meantime, im going to try and get comcast turned back on. ( seems to be a bit of a charge left over from last time.) but no worries, posting can be done by this thing, and photo uploads and such can be done via wifi  when needed. . i could talk church into issuing me an ipad if need be. but not necessary atm. got my tablet here. Ill rehab my left ankle FX, get the prosthetic footwear to brace BOTH ankles, and avoid the fusion surgery on left ankle if possible, and move forward . PC runs, its not seeing the 1tb drive yet, it will though. goal with income tax, is a mobo and cpu. ( am2 mobo. and phenom black quad core.),   goal is to get back on my feet literally. everything else will happen after that. the mrsa, will be dealt with. once in remission ill remain there . may use the best buy card and pick up a jump drive or a converter. ( micro sd to usb) anyways, heres to a GOOD new yeah Eh?

Totally unrelated but speaking of things I really, really dont need, but still want. . .
I been itching for an iPhone 6s+
My old 5s is perfectly fine but as I slowly go fuk-en blind from old age I been thinking a big-assed iPhone would make it seem less noticeable.
Probably a lot safer than a new FJ-09 too.

Anybody else have a short-list  things they really dont need, but for some reason want? (things somewhat affordable, that is)
