DDP again?? Come on slackers!!!  :D :flipoff:

Got out for a solo ride yesterday, perfect weather for it!

Then popped in to see a fellow KA member on the way home and picked up some control blocks for the Kat  :thumb:

And I should soon have a first draft of a wiring harness to post up...

Progress baby!

Well I need a Terminator style skeleton installation! ... this one gives me aches and grumbles! Lol

Oh and a taller diff ratio for the 91 Hiace van. .. and a roots supercharger would be cool! Bahahaha

peteGS

Oooooh supercharger! I'd like me one of them :D

For the wee beastie and the Kat... now wouldn't that be fun???

Nah Pete. .. busy mate! Busy!  .. and not hyperactive as some! ;p

The Kat must be done. its written into law somewhere lol.
Stuff id like to have? sure theres ALOT. ipad would be nice tbh. you can make a phone out of those ( or really any flavor of android too) just install ( usually google voice or something and be near a wifi spot. sure it looks as tho youre speaking into a giant calculator. but a BT headseat works ;). an iphone 4 or newer i wouldnt mind getting hands on at some point. the wifi thing can be done until its activated or flashed to really any carrier. ANYHOO, stuff id like to have on a practical scale;
mobo and cpu for   the pc. although its older, an am2 socket mobo, along with an amd phenom black ed. x4 cpu which allows for easier overclocking. like my old one. i brought it from 3.0ghz to nearly 4. on air. (using a btf 90 cooler) 4.0 DID work, but wasnt stable. 3.9 worked great. temps never went above 44c. this is on the to get list. and use win7 64 bit. along with the new  1tb hard drive, build a dual boot pc. ( win7 AND  apple IOS) OR IF I ADD ANOTHER 1TB drive, a triple boot. adding linux to it.. Anyhoo. this i will try to do. displaywise, ive got 2 4:3  lcd monitors. i would use for flight sims. ANYWAYS, id like at some point to pick up a 120hz rate lcd tv. theyre common and fairly cheap. using 1080p or that 4k, use it for everything. soundwise, i use my Yam 665  av reciever and jbl northridge, along with  a powered polk subwoofer. THAT eliminates soundsyystem for pc.. once i stabilise health, going to try and acquire these items. once surgeries are done, recovery includes 6mos MINIMUM of restricted movement. almost non movement. GAAH sorry lol. need to save med talk for doc thread. lol. plans for a GS trike are now no longer just a hypothetical want, rather a NEED. driving a vehicle with a manual trans  will be no longer possible without hand controls. ( doc offered 3 weeks ago to fill out paperwork for this.)
All of that is unnecesary for now until i get the waiver for the med suspension . this soon will happen. :) or trike could be a bombardier. :)

First messy ugly draft... colours are a mix of stock, what's already on the bits and pieces, and what I made up... no consideration given to simplification, least wires, etc.

Next version should be closer to how it will be laid out on the Kat and include connectors...

I need to add a legend too although most items should be self explanatory.

I meet with Orthopaedic surgeon tomorrow to plan next move. im going to inquire about amputation of this limb. Why? one might ask, well, it doesnt make sense to fuse a joint with these conditions. i.e. the purpose of the procedure is to protect the joint from further damage or injury. which by itself makes PERFECT  sense. BUT the addition of the bone fragility AND  the addition of  charcot foot/ankle, takes the justification of this procedure and throws it out the window.

Pete,
You cooked that up from scratch (nothing)?
What did you do the graphics in?

Yama,
I'll pester you in your own thread!  :icon_mrgreen:

Pete cooked up a batch in his "lab"?! 8)

peteGS

Hahaha yes I cooked it up! Somewhat based on a combination of the stock harness, the Acewell diagram, the various components I have, and my own head.

It's all done in Vision and I made a custom stencil with all the components so I can edit and do it all again.

Next revision will lay things out more like where they'll be in relation to each other when in use.

Refresh and you'll see an updated version with two issues fixed... starter won't work now unless the kill switch is on and the horn button actually has a ground connection so it will work as intended.

This peteGS guy is looking mighty sharp.

I'm thinking this cool wiring job more than makes up for his (cough-cough) sketchy carburetor work.  :icon_mrgreen:

DDP? Meh... gettin' old now, just like me!  :D

The tail light assembly for the Kat is getting there albeit very slowly...

Need to finish filing the plate to size (slow, tedious, boring) then make the posts that will mount and support the lense.

Oh, there will be an ADR approved LED tail/brake light in there. This is to give me more room in the tail piece compared with the big chunky stock assembly. But it will still look stock from the outside...
