Peak Charging Power for GS500F

I'm wanting to add some electrical accesories to my new GS500F, but I can't find the Peak Charging value.  All the owners manual states is that the generator is a Three-phase A.C. generator.
(FYI, I was planning on installing the Digital 5 Function Volt Meter seen in other links, Aux lighing, and a power port).

Thanks
Proper riding gear is nowhere near as constricting as a wheelchair or a coffin.

Did you ever get an answer to this?

Holy balls this is an old thread.  Something tells me the original poster is not coming back to respond.

This is an interesting question tho.

I don't think I've ever seen a definitive answer for the GS500 either. But I was reading on another forum the best thing to do is install a digital volt meter wired as close to the battery as possible (but still on a switched power source). With a meter installed, you can always add electronic accessories and see how they effect the battery voltage. If the meter never reads above about 13.5 volts, your electric load is too high and the battery isn't getting a proper charge.

Its quoted at somewhere between 200 and 225W at around 5krpm. Any increase in wattage above this will see the current in the system come close to 20A and risk blowing the fuse.

Years ago I borrowed a DC ammeter and measured the current on the battery negative lead together the voltage across the battery under full electrical load (cant remember the values now) and using ohms law arrived at a theoretical consumption of around 192W so the answer to the original question is........not much  :D

I run a 12volt 500ma USB port to plug into to charge stuff. I don't use it while the bike wont be running. no problems. but I also plug in my bike on a charger if its gonna sit more then a week.
