Speaking of wrenching ladies, ill have to get a shot of my friends 69 chevelle. WAS a 307 2 spd powerglide. between myself and her, and her BF we built a 383 stroker. it had no oil dipstick. the compression would blow it out lol. 4 rotations on the crank, on a hot battery, if it didnt fire, battery was dead lol. wired in a single wire start. i.e. turn key  to start rotate engine 2x let key go she fires. was hairy at first on 4 drums. ohh the geared cam too. i THINK ive got pics of the car on my pb acct. (specially the engine shot) will locate then update.

Sounds like a beast!!! I like it :D

My wife gave me an old gym mat which I put to good use to dampen the vibration of the compressor through the concrete:

The aforementioned spacer:

And a roller  :D :thumb: :woohoo:

There is still one item I'm missing for the 100% complete roller which I keep forgetting... swingarm bearings!

Applied for a different job last night. .. still as a casual garbo and relief/holiday/sickleave fill in driver/loader. ..

And still with a council... but only 16km/15 mins from home, not 96km/75-120 mins from home!

Got all my bits crossed for luck!

My company is set for a massive strike on March 12.
First time this has happened since 1983.
I may be selling off bikes and stuff from my junk-pile to pay for food & beer.

So Janx... Now that you're officially "old" are you feeling any new creaks or pains when you get up in the morning?
I hope your horse power and torque ratings haven't slipped any.

No new ones yet thankfully! ... ear hair, grey hairs and 5dollar reading glasses in the last 12 months have been enough excitement! Lol. ..

Have started taking Tumeric capsules recently tho... was recommended to try by a friend... seems to help with knee and other joint aches!...

Used to be I took a single panadol if I was dying of manflu! And 2 a day if I had the plague! ;) ... now I swallow a variety of herbs and minerals every night to help alleviate ongoing owies! :icon_eek:

Thinking about headlights and an oil cooler for the Kat in an unusual location... not sure but it's growing on me... all depends how well I could make the fibreglass work blend in with the stock cowling...

And a bit of aluminium work on the weekend... bit of trimming and I can try to braise it up...
