..  there is a distinct and peturbing lack of places to buy a pineapple donut on my way home from work lately!  .. this is unsatisfactory!!!

Reasonable coffee can be had at many points along my path. .. and a multitude is snacks to accompany said coffee.... muffins, brownies, slices, protein bars, trail mixes, ice cream bars, cookies and other donut variants that promise satisfaction but fall meekly by the wayside in the hierarchy of culinary bliss! .

Something is seriously awry with the snackdonian universe when a pineapple donut cannot be present!

I may create a FB page relating to this poor situation!

I remain currently irately unsatiated!

I've never ever had the pleasure of stumbling across a pineapple donut!!!

I want to. I must try it because it sounds very tasty. I wonder where I could find one....

Pineapple donut?? Ok, no, that just sounds wrong... my taste buds are offended just at the thought of said supposedly tasty treat...  :icon_lol:

Yes it sounds wrong... but it works. .. there are some that are pineapple frosted.. these are ok in a pinch. . But the 'real' ones are drenched in a thin commercial pineapple topping liquid. .or if you are especially lucky sweetened pineapple juice that's been simmered down to a syrup. ..

Many moons ago I too was offended by the concept... a couple bites later I was a fanboy!!

You absolutely cannot knock it till after you have sampled! Twould be a crime against the universe! ;)

peteGS

Hmmm... well if anyone ever offers me one I shall accept and taste and see... probably with a grimace and closed eyes... hahahaha

Had a nice little ride with the Kat boys yesterday, was a little brisk in spots and a nice almost chilly breeze up on Mt Mee was a nice change from the stinking humidity of late  :thumb:

.... and tonight I had. .. breakfast something icecream (I'm laying down to sleep and can't remember exact name) .

Woolworths brand, 4 bucks for 500ml tub, biscuit and butter,  maple swirl and maple bacon pieces.

Its Absofuckinglutely awesome! ... flavours are true type, some up front and some on the linger time....

Just y'all try it. .. if you can!

I'm not really one for ice cream (I know, what a crime!!!)  :icon_eek: But that sounds like something my dad would enjoy  :D

There used to be a store in my town here called Woolworths!! It was like a Dollar General or a small Walmart... but it closed years and years ago (like so many other stores/businesses in this town)  :icon_confused:

That sounds about right for our Woolworths  :icon_lol:

(Woolworths and Coles are our two main grocery stores here... not always the best)

I may have ruined my battery/electrics tray yesterday... tried brazing but the melting point of the brazing rods is higher than the melting point of the 0.8mm aluminium I used... I'm sure you can imagine the result...

I've tried a dodgy patch job and an alternative method of sealing the joins but won't know until tonight if it's succeeded.

But I had good success with the front inner guard which needs some small refinements but overall is pretty much done!

Hmmmm interesting Janxy! Food for thought right there...

And cheers Daeouse!

The battery tray did work out :D

Now to trim that rear section down to be flush with the front and add some mounts and she'll be ready to paint  :thumb:

Indeed!

Revised the rear tray/inner guard design last night so I should be able to get started on that now:

Even seems to have the tail light in the right spot...

And there ain't no end in sight! Should be cutting out if not bending the rear inner guard/tray today I hope.

Looks like I've got a GSXR 600/750 front master cylinder sorted and have a line on some foam to form the mould for the seat/tail piece.

Busy busy and lovin' it!  :woohoo:
