well damn theres some cool things going on, just a bit different, the hydraulic clutch is completely unjustified but cool none the less :thumb:

must say the srad tails are right up there with busas and late 90s gsxf for having the worst looking tails, its madly out of proportion on the sad, never mind the gs. not a good look but hey its different, you certainly put the work in and i respect both those points. :cheers:

whats the current state of affairs with the gs at them moment anyway man?
current project list:
//cbr 600 f3 fighter
//gsxr 1100 mental oldskool supersport
//gs500 daily rat tracker cafe fighter that changes every couple of month... cafe fighter?

on my gs500 everything is now working as it should but 1 thing isn't, i have power from the battery, all lights and such work yet when i start the bike its as if my speedo isn't getting enough power and just flickers, yet when i stop the engine, the speedo reboots? im thinking its the alternator not putting out enough juice, any ideas?

Looking good! I would like to know more about the front end swap. Did you have to machine anything to get it to fit the GS frame?

dowdy80

The front end was rather easy, a sinnis apache has the same stem bearings as a GS, the hard bit was to make it fit, you couldn't press the stem, its a solid lump of steel, so I measured the stem size difference and cut it out from the middle then used an arc welder to put it back together. Bolted straight up
