Mmmmmm grilled cheese!!!

Damn you're making me hungry now Janxy!!

My trip to the dentist on Friday involved a few spits of rain as I raced a big line of showers there... then was lucky enough they all passed over while having my appointment and got home dry. Doesn't usually work out like that but I love it when it does  :thumb: :woohoo:

Time to start the fibreglass seat/tail piece on the Kat... gonna use the bottom of the front part to make a mould for the front section, then will stick that mould to some foam which I'll use to shape from the pillion seat back.

May or may not work but worth a shot.

House mate arrived home with a Cigweld 135 gas/gasless MIG welder yesterday  :thumb:

Typically $470 - 600 but got it for $350 brand new, bargain! Should do everything I need to do around here including welding aluminium  :woohoo:

Man I hate limited $$$... getting close to a rear tyre for the 450 but I also need to buy some bits and pieces from Mick Hone for the Kat and I need to get some fibreglass supplies so I can start making the seat mould... I don't wanna choose what I do and don't buy, I just want it all!

Boy do I understand where you're coming from on that one.  :technical:

I've got my car that I am itching to get on the road but I still have the interior to do... there are things I want to do to the bike... I'm working on my basement bathroom and I also need to paint the foundation on my house along with the window frames and my garage door (going to buy that paint tonight)... it's like wtf I need more time AND more money !!  I want it all and I want to get it all done !!!

There needs to be two of me. One to work full time and make the monies and one to do all the projects  ;)
Superbike bars, '04 GSXR headlight & cowl, DRZ signals, 1/2" fork brace, 'Busa fender, stainless exhaust & brake lines, belly pan, LED dash & brake bulbs, 140/80 rear hoop, F tail lens, SV650 shock, Bandit400 hugger, aluminum heel guards & pegs, fork preload adjusters, .75 SonicSprings, heated grips

peteGS

Aaaah yes!!!! We need clones... just one would do the trick  :thumb:

But could the world cope with two Pete's? Hmmmm scary concept!!!

I think I can get away without a new rear tyre until next pay, it's just the centre that wears due to the commute... I need to buy some new mounting rubbers for the headlight so I can adjust the fitment to suit and I need a seat lock so I can ensure the seat/tail piece I make fits right... and I need those fibreglass materials... oh decisions decisions!

Maybe I'll just buy them all and say screw it my rear tyre is a slick  :cookoo:

Easy day at work today, public holiday so not much traffic, felt so alert on the way home I text a mate.... how about an hour on the MTB's on the bush trails nearby? .. just pedal along easy and chat a bit.... we haven't been for a ride for ages!

(Well I haven't... he rides a couple times a week) ...

16km/10mi later. .. yeah! Feels good... feels pumped.....

2 hours later on the lounge... I go to get up.... yeeeeeeaaaaaaarrrrggghh!!!! ... legs- quads and calves are feeling like they dipped in hot curry! ....

Magnesium tab, multi V tab, turmeric tab..... water water water. ..

I'm always good at recovery program AFTER it starts to hurt LOL?

Bedtime now, hopefully can move tmw! ... or I be driving miss daisy on the garbage truck! ;)

peteGS

Hahahahaha no pain no gain right?

Anyone pulled an ignition switch like this apart? Three roll pins hold the barrel in, can't seem to drill them out nor do I have any screws small enough to get a grip and pull them out...

Working pic now on tapatalk. ..

Small gentle taps with a centrepunch and hammer? Try one way then if both ends available try the other way?

Janx101

That moment when. .....

You're just the right amount of sleepy, your think and do list for the day is done, you lay down on the mattress and it cradles you like grandma's hugs...... ahhhhhhhh! Blissful stretch and sleep time! :thumb:

peteGS

Hmmm centre punch... could be a thought there! Don't think I have one small enough but I may be able to improvise...

And yes, that drifting off is bliss  :thumb:
