Hello all,

My question has to do with the valve adjustment. Here is the information i gathered after trying to adjust the valves. I am a little perplexed  :dunno_black:

Right Exhaust - Could fit a .10mm feeler gauge easily. Tried the next biggest i had which was .13mm and did not fit. Question- Should i leave it like that? My concern is since i do not have a .11 or .12, i do not know exactly if its exactly at .10 or much higher. If it was higher, would that cause any problems? Ive heard having the exhaust valves at maximum spec is better to avoid burning the valves.

Left Exhaust - See above. Same specs as Right Exhuast.

Right Intake - Could fit a .08mm but not a .10mm. I do not have a .09mm so i could not test for it. That being said, .08mm is in spec, so should i leave it? Would it be ok IF it was at .09mm?

Left Intake - See above. Same specs as Right Intake

If no harm will be done with these specs, i rather leave them as is. I do not have the tool and rather not mess with them if i do not have to. Please help! Thank you

These sound okay to me, as long as you are not racing the bike. The clearances will only get tighter with additional mileage.

Note: you can combine feeler gauges to make the size you need. Missing the .09? Use a .04 and .05 together.

I see. Perfect, but no racing as I'm just a casual rider. Mostly as a hobby. Yes of course, I should have thought of that. Such a dummy!!! But thank you, ill leave them as is. That should work
