So, this weekend has been very sad but very nice at the same time.  I sold my GS500 but....  :thumb: picked up a very nice 1991 Suzuki Gsxr 750. All original with no modifications at all. Bike has been parked in a barn for the last 5 years and not been touched. Got a very good deal on it. Anyone else on here have an older Gsxr or ever had one? I may be on here asking for help if thats fine with everyone. whats your thoughts on it?

Just the usual stuff.  If it's sitting for 5 years it's probably got dry tires with flat spots and needs a carb cleaning in addition to the usual clean up and tune up work.  :thumb:

That was my first thought too. the tires actually didnt look to bad. I already downloaded a manual for it and planned on hitting the local store for the oil, plugs, air filter... Normal things. Seller stated that the carbs were rebuilt last year when he thought he was going to ride it again. then put it away and lost interest again. The bike is in amazing condition.

You just added a GREAT BIG ZING to your life. Great score!
My '85 slabbie was a blast, dead reliable, bulletproof, (but I learned not to trust it too much on slippery wet roads).
Beam me up Scottie....

Oooo you got one of those, OK fine its a lateral move (where you have laterally moved onto 2 GS500's welded up side by side).

Haha.. OK you got me there. No it's not a katana but I have to agree the 500 was so much fun even after I laid her over in gravel.
