Oh no I'm still winning!!!! Is LPW dead???

Bought a fork brace for the Kat off a mate on Saturday morning, the dust boots have nowhere to attach to properly though so I need to figure something out there.

Got pretty much no time on the seat mould though unfortunately and I need to get that done ASAP!

Pete Simpson eh?! ;) .. I only know what theremin actually is/looks like  from big bang theory show, knew the sound from Dr Who theme but always thought it was a keyboard!

peteGS

Well now I know something new too! I always thought it was a keyboard also... but I've never watched Big Bang Theory...

Did some more patching on the seat mould last night, I reckon there's a good chance I might be able to coat it ready for wax and use this weekend!!!

And looking around on details of a fork brace I scored I found another black and red Kat for some more inspiration...

Never watched Big Bang?!?! .. but. .   But! ... well damn!!

peteGS

Nup, never! Seen a snippet here and there channel surfing but working in IT means watching a show with geeks is very unappealing... I get to deal with people they remind me of every day... and that's just after watching probably a sum total of 20 seconds of the show...  :2guns:

I reckon I'll be putting the coating over the mould ready for wax this weekend  :thumb: :woohoo:

There is a theremin app  for tablet use. from what ive read the device both predates tablets and the tv show. its got a sound unique to itself lol.

Yama, it definitely pre-dates all that..  the Dr Who tv series that ran for decades used it as the theme song sound! Right back to black and white tv days.

A quick Google reveals it was invented in 1919 by a Russian chap.

This video link is the man himself playing his instrument!

aye. it has a unique sound. going to try teaching myself to play  it. maybe go as far as trying to play the brandenburg concerto on it ( the app) may fail miserably but wth Eh?

Ohhh, i figured out how to motorise the knee scooter. a 49cc chinese goped clone. a replacement engine and trans    cheaper than the alternative. geared for speed. i know, kinda stupid Eh? , reason being is to cut down on wheelie potential. and training wheels to recover from wheelies.. ( while turning) located the engine, hes hollding it for me. ive already got the training wheels.. hehe i see fun err bad things happening. ( i jest, ill be careful)
