What colour brake lines?

What colour brake lines should I get? I have a purple bike, but I don't think the purple brake lines will match and they'll look silly. I could go black, but then how would people know that I've got awesome new brake lines?!

What would you guys do?

How about those fancy stainless braided ones? I've seen them mentioned on the forum before... I think Big Rich supplied a good link to 'em once or twice. Was thinking about getting some myself someday. Or if they make them in gold, that might be kinda spiffy too.
Superbike bars, '04 GSXR headlight & cowl, DRZ signals, 1/2" fork brace, 'Busa fender, stainless exhaust & brake lines, belly pan, LED dash & brake bulbs, 140/80 rear hoop, F tail lens, SV650 shock, Bandit400 hugger, aluminum heel guards & pegs, fork preload adjusters, .75 SonicSprings, heated grips

Make that thrice (that is a word, right?):

I've ordered quite a few lines from this seller (all clear) for various projects. Nothing but pleasant to deal with.

I vote black.
First, I like sleepers.
Second, remember you have to keep a nice coloured brake line reasonably clean so it doesn't look awful. Can you route yours so that it can be cleaned easily?

Ride it like a 2 stroke:
1: Rev high
2: Add oil
3: Repeat

Purple bikes can look good with gold accents, I think. I saw a purple ZX6R on craigslist not too long ago where the outer fork tube, the plate the front brake disc attaches to, and the brake/clutch levers were gold and it looked really sharp. Adding in gold brake likes would have blended nicely.

Would probably need to see a pic of your bike though before I made any real recommendation.

That is a fair point

Yellow.

It could be a possibility, I'm considering the yellow SV650 shock.

Bike pictures are in my build thread.

I did once plan of having the frame gold with metal flake, but the engine bolts won't come out.

Looking at the pics of your bike, I'd say go with gray or silver.

This is a stock photo, the one I saw also had gold levers (and pegs too now that I think about it...) but look how cool purple/gold looks on the front end lol  :icon_eek::

I like the HEL lines in clear. Thats what I have on my bike. They show the true stainless mesh underneath. That seems like the purest form. They also look good if you ever change your bike's color.
