Winning!!!!  :woohoo:

Filter material finally arrived, recirculation box done:

Made a jig of sorts so I can repair the broken out thread from removing one of the screws from the rear master cylinder reservoir on the Kat:

And got the first round of paint stripping done on the braking components:

Coolness. Almost done with my stand up gas scooter. Just have to save funds around 10 box to order the tank fuel line passthrough. After that, I fit the kneepad and in done yay lol.

Wahooo!  :woohoo:

We do need pic's though...

Wonder how the Kat is fairing? Stuck it out in its new home to get some room in the shed... under a bike cover and there's a bit of tin for a roof but we're actually getting a little rain this week.

Gonna be an interesting trip to work today with a rather bald rear tyre... new ones on Friday  :thumb: :thumb:

Ended up with plenty of traction... fortunately it seems there was enough dampness to bring all the oil to the surface *and* wash it off... bargain!  :thumb:

One more day today then new tyres tomorrow... can't wait!!!

I did find the fuel line grommet. You can see it on the lines. In photo.
Found it for less than 10bux on amazon with fuel lines. Time to save nickels and dimes lol :)

Nice one Yama!! That'll keep ya' mobile  :thumb: :thumb:

Got my new tyres yesterday but only after the tyre people managed to send my mechanic the wrong rear tyre... so I had a loan of a Bandit 250 while we waited for the correct tyre to arrive. If that bike had some power it'd be a fun ride, like a modern version of my 450. The 250 just doesn't have the grunt... gotta get it up above 8 or 10K RPM before it does anything...

same question different answer.

q: why shouldnt you iron a 4 leaf clover?
a: because you dont want to press your luck

anyhoo i found the tank fuel line grommet with lines for 6.95
or the grommet alone for 2 bux.. methinks i should save nickels and dimes and get the one with lines included, and replace both.

They have a mind of their own... we just do what they tell us :D

More paint stripping action...

And a bit of JB Weld to the rescue to repair the rear master cylinder reservoir where the screw post broke off, just need to drill and tap once it's cured.

I have several...  :icon_lol: :icon_lol: :icon_lol:

Drilled and tapped...

Success!

All that's left to do is run the dremel over the JB Weld to smooth it down in line with the original post which I'll do hopefully on the weekend when I can make a bit of noise.
