It would be helpful to know where you are located and how much you are charging for the parts.

SW Florida near Ft. Myers. The engine is seized. I pulled the head off and discovered my connecting had rod snapped in three places. Looking into the crankcase, the connecting rod journals did look scored. Most of the outer parts like the clutch are fine, the top end is fine also: valves, camshafts. Not sure the exact extent of the internal damage as I never bothered the split the case.

hmmm.. for the buggered engine, I'm curious as to what you'd want for it, I'm in the Kissimmee area. so its very likely I can come and take it off your hands. I know what getting a already seized engine means, but I was hoping there would be enough parts between the two of them to get at least one of the engines going again.

and a couple of days ago, my engine sounded like someone took a handfull of marbles and chucked em in there and it just rattled on and I came to a stop, and that was all it had to say about that. Pretty sure it was the top end. [I think a valve spring broke, or it broke a shim?] either way I haven't cracked mine open yet because I'm kinda annoyed at these "bullet proof" engines, that seem to just rattle themselves apart, this would be rebuild #3 on this particular engine...  :flipoff:

I just need the enginey bit- you can hold onto the carbs, the carb boots, airfilter box, all that good stuff.

Shift-E

Do you happen to have the Tachometer still?
E body with an F engine. I call her Sheila. She's got plenty of problems, but I'm here to sort her out and get her in tip-top shape.

Is the gas tank in good condition?

The gas tank is in great shape, recently drained it and removed the secondary petcock for cleaning, electrolysis to clean inside,  along with treating with a fresh coating of MMO. Paint is black and is in excellent condition, the tank has one dent on the left side but is hardly noticeable.

I'm a little north of Fort Myers if you'd like to come down and make an offer on whatever you happen to need.
