So I was riding some country roads yesterday doing about 50 mph. I looked down at my gauges and to my shock the speedometer needle had broken inside the gauge.

Ever seen anything like that? What are my options? Should I get a new gauge and not worry about changed mileage or can the needle be replaced? I guess I got the lucky 08 GS with the really good gauges haha.

Thanks in advance all you wise GSTwinners!

Looks like it didn't break off enough to be unusable. If you can still roughly tell how fast you are going I would just ignore it.

The real question is how fast you were going to break it....

They're not hard to fix, the hardest part being removing the bezel.
