I just woke up not long ago. Scrolling through the GS500 fb group and having my coffee... and there's someone who posted a nice pic of their GS with a jet airplane 8)

I asked if they were by chance playing the Picture Game... and they said thank you for the invite but they don't speak much English (they are from Hungary)... but could I post the link to the pic here. I said sure! It's a neat pic IMO.

I did reply back and ask what they would like the new challenge to be, if this is OK to be submitted. Not sure if it's ever been asked if a non-English speaking non-forum member could complete one of the challenges... but I figured it was worth a shot!

Would be nice to keep the game going, as always :)

MiG 21!  Nice.   Glad to see someone else had it covered, even if by proxy.  :)

Here's my picture I was gonna hafta win my own request with:

While this beast was nominally a fighter, it was really used more as a bomber.  They had to be protected by F-4 Phantoms when flying in Vietnam or the MiG-21 pictured above would eat them for lunch.  Even its name was lame.  Real fighters are Mustangs and Hornets are Banshees.  This is the F-111 Aardvark.

Showbiz, if the FB contact never got back to you with a new picture suggestion, go ahead and suggest something yourself.
If you can't be a good example, at least try to be a horrible reminder.

Gotta wonder when names like that get picked for stuff   Great pic!!

They never did get back to me with a new challenge so...  how about a picture of your bike with a building that has burned.

I'm not sure how it is all over the world but around here, there are several houses and other buildings that have been left and abandoned after they caught fire. Eventually they do get torn down but it seems to take forever sometimes.

Can't remember that ever being a challenge before.

Very timely with the entire West being on fire. Its been equivalent to 5 fire seasons within 24 hours in Washington. I'll be helping out on the Oregon fires, but not on the GS.

Woah!  When did this get moved to the Odd and Ends section?

Damn, been away too long.

Nevermind, wasn't paying attention apparently. :technical:

All I can find is a building that blew up,.. I guess some stuff might've burned,.. Would that work show?

If that works,...how about your bike with something,.... political,...like a sign, billboard, similar,...

Noooobody on something political with all the stuff going on?  Ah well,...

I was riding in this morning and saw some murals on the side of a run down building.  How about your bike with a mural?

I'd have to ride into the city to find a mural on an outside wall. And I have sworn off of Austin. Maybe I'll find something somewhere closer. I am going to go ride today.

I should be able to do this one.  Planning on taking a Scrambler 1100 for a test ride and there are a few murals around Tucson.

That 1100 was a blast, by the way.  Super premium equipment, with a bit of a hooligan feel to it.  It would be a solid daily rider you could have fun on for a long time.

Next challenge.  Uh, how about your bike at some place that has a personal anecdote/meaning attached to it?  Like a restaurant where you went on your first date with your now wife, or the first place you crashed your bike, or etc?

That's a great challenge, I like it. Hopefully someone will get it and tell an uplifting story. I could use one of those and I'm sure others could too!

Let's see if I can get the nerve up to ride to the place where I crashed... I mean, I have ridden that route one time since, but it still kinda gives me the heebie-jeebies.

Maybe I should look for something with a more positive vibe. Nearly everywhere I ride to has some positive personal anecdote. And y'all know I can't stop myself from telling it.

I do! But call me a puss cuz even though the cold doesn't keep me from riding, being buried with snow every single flipping day does  :2guns: ...at least for now.
