Hi i've just aquired a project, the guy was going to put an after market speedo on it but he's just cut all the wires & not labled anything. Now there's 2 connector blocks are all for the speedo cluster but the yellow & ''red'' wires  has me lost as to what they are,i think the 2 wires black wires near the horn are for the tacho as its a 2006 model.  Any help greatly appreciated

OMG - you have the wiring diagram ? You're gonna need it. Your pics are too out of focus to have me tell anything.
However 06 has a electronic tach so 1 signal wire and a ground for that, and all other wires are for the idiot lights. You're going to need the wiring diagram for that generation of bike.

thanks, i'm not good with the phone camera lol. ive worked out all but one wire, is the red with black tracer on it

Must be aftermarket. I don't see any red/black wires on the diagram:

its part of the factory loom which is odd, will have to see what doesnt work i guess lol
