Missing Carb Washer?

Hello all.
I am unsure if I have lost a washer from one of my carbs while moving house, or if the previous owners added a washer.

One of my carbs has a brass coloured washer (3mm ID, 6.7mm OD, 1mm T) that sits in the bottom of the piston, around the jet needle. The other carb does not. Everything else is the same (position of the e-clip and other washers ect.)

The other thing though is that this washer doesn't seem to exist on the Haynes diagram. It's a K1 onwards stock model. Do you guys know what the go is with this washer?

The washer under the e clip is a jetting hack we do to lift the needle up making it richer a shade and putting that taper into play a little sooner. The 01+ models have a washer on top of the e clip and we put that under the e clip instead of adding a whole new washer. You really want to find a washer like that and put it under the clip - they should match.
BTW how did you lose that while moving ? was the carbs apart rattling around in a box ? Chances are it was forgotten at assembly by who ever did it.
Cool.

I took the carbs apart to clean and life ect kept getting in the way. Washer most likely got left behind.

He he hee ... Like one of those things you put back together and find a bunch of parts left over, except you lost the left overs. Yea happens to all of us. You wrench for long enough you've done both.
