Hello everyone,
I've ridden my gs500f 2008 a bit harder😄 (thx Ryan f9) 😅 keeping the rpm's between 7-8k- amazing ride,
After I've stopped I checked for any oil leaks- as before I've had some oil buildup at the bottom end of the cylinders and under the tensioner (this mysteriously stopped some 6 months ago). I've noticed that there is fresh oil buildup under the tensioner and bubbles coming from under the rubber end at the tip of the tensioner. Normal or not? Should I be worried or not?

That passage is way too high for the oil to have enough pressure and be forced to go out. But it could drip over time.

At most you have the oil the chain drags and sprinkles but not much more.

IMO

If a bubble is coming out somehow you have air pressure inside , I would check the breather hose that goes to the airbox is unclogged.

I imagine you read the level with the dipstick?
Level is ok?

If the oil is ok, just top it and ride.

Thanks for the reply!
Yes, the oil level is ok...
I checked the breather hose two months ago when I checked valve clearances- but all within specs...
I'll guess I'll just keep an eye on the oil level and keep on riding
