so we took off the Acerbis Alien headlight because I got a crazy idea to use the stock one. All the mounting tabs except 2 were broken so it was pretty much useless and if this idnt work I was just going to donate it. Came out 100000 times better then I thought it would plus its all stock wiring so there isnt any crazy wiring going on.  This is the look I have been going for since I bought the bike. Parts are the stock headlight, 10$ set of EMGO mirrors  plus a 12$ universa headlight mounting kit - all from denniskirk. All I had to do was bend the ends  of the headlight mounting kit to form to the headlight. It took me about 2-3 hours total because I also installed a stainless front brake line and bleeding it was a bish.

from my dennis kirk invoice

-Part# H27101
Side-Mount Headlight Brackets

- Part# 391615
Universal Mirror (2 come in the package)

you cant move it up anymore because its already 1/8th of an inch from touching the gauges. The bike is 06 and I bought it with the intention to turn it into a streetfighter of some sort. The front fairings were worthless because the guy that sold it to me crashed it. I saw a headlight like this on the board but I could not find were to buy it. THe only reason I kept this headlight around was for the bulb to see if it fit in the CBR but yesterday I was sitting there cleaning the house and thats when I got the idea. I had an Acerbis Cyclops on it but it looked ridiculous because there was nowhere to hide all of the wiring. This is way better in my opinion because I keep stock wiring. To mount the headlight I used 2 fairing mounting tabs from the leftover fairings and the screws. I spent 0$ on the headlight, 0$ on the screws, 12$ on the headlight mount, 11$ on the mirrors and the turn signals were already with the bike. All I need now is a tailight and Im done. I bought the bike for 500$ with 1700 miles and it came with the Jardine full exhaust.

man, i've got that image on my desktop, and i'm trying to overlay a head on shot of a F, an E, and your bike, but I don't have a straight on shot....

would ya mind whorin yer bike out a little more with no other bikes in the background ? you know, solid wall, just grass, alley way, something like that ?

i'm thinking your idea (which I haven't seen before anywhere for a gs) and this guy's ride would equal one fantastic looking machine:

both your rides are awesome looking really.
