I'm Wes, 20 years old. I live in obetz OH. I'm new on here, and new to bikes. Got my GS500 about a month ago, and i have already put over 2k on it...haha I'm thinking i really like motorcycles:) I work for the city of Worthington Parks and Rec. I'm single, love to play/write/record music. Haven't done to much to the bike yet. Changed the bars, grips, put on all LED signals (still working out bugs with that) I also changed out my mirrors. These ones have the turn signals built into them. LOVE them!

Kristen, 27 from Marietta, GA.  I bought my first bike, a 97 GS500 two weeks ago.  After taking the MSF class, I spent about a month learning to ride on my boyfriend's Ninja 250 before grabbing my own.  I find the GS suits me better than the 250 and is actually a lot more fun! :) I'm looking forward to miles and miles of joy!

John, "medium-old," from Jacksonville, FL, riding a '09 GS500F that I've had for about three weeks.

Now has a ZG Sport Touring screen on it.

Now, if I could only figure out how to add a picture on this post - I'd be a happy camper. :D Any suggestions???

Post it on the internet somewhere.  anywhere.  Suggest photobucket.

Once it is on the web, right click the image and choose properties.  The image's address will appear:  something like "http://xxx.xxxxxxx.xxx.com/.......xxx.jpg".  Highlight that, right click and copy.  Then start a new message here on the forum.  Click this icon above: then press control-v on your keyboard.

Oh, there may be better instructions in the faq section.

Fonzi from San Jose, CA. I'm 20 yrs old got my license a few months ago after completing the MSF course. I got myself a 92 GS500 a few days ago after the experienced riders I spoke with told me a 600RR was not a good idea for a first bike. The younger ones however told me to just jump onto a liter bike because I'd get bored of the 600RR . I have ridden a GSXR-1000 before...it was...an experience. Nothing bad happened but it's just a beast and I felt nervous on it. Anyway I picked up my GS fairly cheap I guess at $720. A few minor issues and not the prettiest bike but a weekend and some rattle cans fixed that easily.

I'm restoring it so my wife can have a bike to learn on.
shes only tried our sons xr80.

Eduardo

Arron, 23 and from Sydney, Australia. I ride an 07 GS500F every day and in the last 18 months have put a cool 24000km on the dial O0

I also painted it all black and put a custom sticker set on it a few months ago. The stickers are all in suzuki font, including some in katakana (the character system used by Suzuki). Guess I'm trying to make it look like its a special model from the factory or something  ;) I'll add photos later when I take some.

coyotejeepguy

Hi all, Art here.  40 yr old guy from Guelph Ont with his first street bike.  Had dirt in the past but never was on pavement much.  Well I met an awesome woman a couple years back and she was into bikes so she bought a brand new S40 and loved riding so with her help and prodding I picked up a 97 GS500.  It has a bad blue paint job that someone did previous to me and a couple of minor mods I have done.  I have trimmed the rear fender and such but will be doing a much more radical job of it this winter and going for a full undertail look, new handlebars thanks to a test of gravity, (for the record it is still working just fine), Pirelli Sport Demon on the back, and a long list of mods to come.  Up coming things are:
Progressive rate springs
Exhaust
Air Filter
Jetting
Rear Shock
Bar end mirrors
Dual Headlight kit
probably a few other things too.

Paintball_Midget

name is Rob. 19 years old. recently bought my first gs500f and lovein more and more every time i ride it.
