Aftermarket screen and seat. And a good colour too. Nice one  :thumb:

Michael
Yes MRA screen, plus I have the original, custom made seat to suit long distance riding for rider and pillion (also have a spare headlight assembly worth $1k).  Colour is perfect, wife loves it, so it wasn't hard to fund. :thumb:

ALL THE FIVES - and I've put every one of them on there. Who says this is a learners only bike? Only those who have something to compensate for...

After....
* Removing Raask rear set and going back to OEM
* Removing 89 clip-ons and going back to OEM
* Valve adjustment
* New throttle cable
* Changing from blue to purple

I said goodbye to Trey. Northwestrider drove him home after we spent the day doing all the wrenching. He now knows A LOT about the GS500. Next year he and his wife will take a ride to Alaska. She will ride Trey. She likes purple so I gave her the purple trimmings.

NortwestRider

Trey's new home,hope big brother takes good care of him !!
My wife rode it tonight and really loves it..

Pics of the new beast that graces my garage.  Its a 2004 Suzuki Bandit GSF1200S, 58,000kms on the dial, all pretty much from the previous owner, a work colleague.  That's after I just came back form a ride through to Dayboro and back.  Rides very nicely, very different to my GS500, but then I would expect that.  Only change I'll make from here is add my personalised plate when it turns up (next week hopefully) and Oxford soft panniers to replace the Givi boxes (racks that I just removed) for when wife and I go away for O/N rides.

HOLY HUGE FRAME SLIDER BATMAN!!
Thought that was an oil filter for a second. lol
Nice horn too.

LOL, yes I can see how you'd mistake that.

The horn is placed nicely so as you pass a driver's open window, you can give them earful.  Works a dream, used it within 5 minutes of getting on it the first time on a taxi driver who was all over the place, reckon he had to change his pants after I left.

Had a good chance to ride it over the weekend and have to say it goes like the clappers.  I like the GS500 because I think my license is safer with it LOL, but the Bandit will be a nice long distance hauler.

Rode 350 miles from Chicago to Cincinnati.  A good run, but a wee bit sore.

I helped get my friend's boat running too.  Carb problems, but it's fixed now.  :woohoo:
Bikeless and Broke at the moment...
