Madjak is it me or does that exhaust seem to be a little close to your kiester/leg  :o

Flick has a new Stebil horn in the mail. 139db :woohoo: Can you hear me now?

Mary

Mary, do tell us about your honkin' horn when it gets installed.  I've been thinking about putting one on.  I had a pair of Bosch snails for a long time but they've finally worn out.  I'd hate to have to put the stock horn back on!  Ha!

i did my first oil change on it. Bought it two weeks ago.

Rotella T 15w40  3.5 quarts paired with KN 133 filter.

I thought it was 2.9L but i did 3 qts and it barely was on the low side. This was with the bike standing upright on the floor.

Flick's new voice box came in today! Now he is a loudmouth just like his owner. Went on like a dream 30 min max and that was because I was to lazy to take off the fairing and a partially working right shoulder!

Flick is so loud it hurt my ear the first time :o  Can you hear me now?

BTW its the Stebil scooter horn on JCWhitney believe it was $29.99 graduation present for me! 139 ear splitting DB!

You Fin's seem kind of backwards of us here in the USA. We take off the stock bars and try to find the European clip-ons! If you were over here, you could have found someone who would have gladly traded stock bars for the clip on's.
Nice color! Looks like Junior (I have a set of tails like yours that I sometimes put on him in place of the Gimbel seat).

Huh, must be the rough roads over here then  ;)

I actually got quite a few questions about selling those to the USA on this forum. Looks like i've got some hot stuff on my hands, eh?

Started hearing a clunking noise when I take off, I'm thinking it might be my front sprocket, or my chain hitting something, or something with my rear wheel since I took that off and put that back on myself I might have messed up. Will check later though.

LMK if you figure it out.  I seem to be getting a little of that, too!  Kinda sounds like the chain popping onto the c/s sprocket.  I barely have 1000 miles on mine and I have been lubing and adjusting, so it makes me go hmmm...

Man, that's what my bike needs...the exhaust sound of my bike is awesome, but the horn (meep meep) sounds like something from a 50cc scooter...I guess all stock horns are kinda lame...I'm going shopping... :thumb:

Later.

Sorry, thought we had gotten it from JCwhitney but it was from Dennis Kirk and was $39.99 like I said it was a graduation present so I wasn't completly privy to that part LOL!

My girl came home from a major service today so new she is running on new oil/filter, air filter, valve shims and just about everything else  that can be adjusted.

Huge difference!!! The guy left my clutch at a level of softness on par with pillows and breasts.

Am I strange for preffering it to be hard as nails??

I replaced my turn signal relay, which I'm 99% sure was the reason I was having intermittent turn signal issues.  All seems to be good now, and hopefully that does the trick and I don't have to pull the harness out to find a short somewhere else.
